  1. See, I'd be interested in ekona/gt4 zed/some of the other track people on this. I thought when you take the car to a track it's better to underinflate the tyres as they'll gain a lot of heat and therefore psi when running round the track and I believe that's the reason why I had big chunks coming off the PS2's.
  2. Hmmmmm......looks interesting, although TBH, my car is as slippery as a slippery thing, and still the pollen settles..... Car cover But apparently it's good for static, wax I don't think really is brilliant for static, think sealants are better.
  3. Too darn right. Been thinking of getting some of this. http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/chemical- ... be-16o.php

    bose sub

Got one taken out of mine if you're interested
  5. Could also be a bit more interesting and get an exhaust system that I've yet to see in the UK
  6. I think that's pretty much the case on any decats? Berk HFC's don't though apparently
  7. Budget for Y section back about £450 max, Cats back £700. Nismo is just over that, cat back I think tarmac has for £1200. But check with tarmac It sounds like this:
  8. That's not as bad as I thought. Ah but then race cats on top
  9. What's your budget? Personally, I don't like the scorpion, miltek is a bit quiet for my liking, k1, yes well... Nismo for me (no bias )
  10. Ahhh, hfc's then Unless you go all fancy like wasso and get the motordyne xyz, then maybe you could switch between cats or not Motordyne xyz isn't exactly cheap from what I remember though.
  11. Sounds quiet to me? In fact not as loud as nismo? This, is loud: You may just need earplugs and to avoid all cops though
  12. Nah, it's ginger isn't it? Like the wheels
  13. Bleeding eck, seems tyre stock gets less and less the more I look at it. mytyres.co.uk have vredestein ultrac sessantas for £198 but i'd go for the bridgestone re050a's at camskill at £207
  14. They're nice but since I first saw them I kinda liked the advans.
  15. The custom dymag carbon fibre/forged mag wheels are 14lb in 19x10" Mmmmmm totally custom wheels
  16. I'd have thought that extra red paint stripe would add weight to the wheels. Before you say it, yes I am serious, look at the difference in weight of the advans in 2 different colours
  17. Volks: Because they're stronger than badgers
  18. Does that mean I get to use them half the time? I don't think it's realistic to get wheels weighing less than the rays in 19", nor do I really see the point if you're not tracking the 350z, in which case, you wouldn't be wanting to do it on massively expensive wheels anyways. Advan rs's or ians ce28n's would be damn close though, as ian said, they're like a couple of lb out from the rays. It's an interesting question though, so can I have the dymag carbon fibre/forged mag wheels now
  19. So, to answer your question, yes, there probably are, the same wheels as on the mosler. They'll set you back ~£5.5k and look to be utterly custom made. If you get some, i'm definitely in for pictures http://www.rotaryart.uk.com/acatalog/Dy ... ls_19.html Why would you want 19"s lighter than the 18" rays? Surely if you wanted light you'd go with 18" wheels? Some of ians wheels in 18" would be ~15.8lb
  20. I can't find the weight on the 19x9.5, but the 18x8.5 are 11.5kg, or 25lb so I can't believe the 19x9.5" are ~20lb.
  21. Advan rs's are pretty light. http://www.mymbonline.com/forum/246-a/4 ... ost1610623 http://mechdb.com/index.php/Wheel_weights
  22. There's only a 50/50 chance there'll be something there to crash into I like those odds
  23. Ians looks better Yeah it's a cheap crap interior, but with a 7 litre ls7 and maybe a callaway supercharger/turbo conversion stuck on, would you really care?
