Easy. Corvette is a gorgeous sounding sports car with pretty damn good handling and a fairly large boot whilst not being excessively heavy. Camaro is a muscle car which will be great fun in a straight line and is a bit more practical, if you really need that for 2 people

There was another place called dreamcarhire which has vettes in vegas in coupe form. Just thinking there may be other options than hertz. Honestly, the pre 2011 mustang wasn't that loud, the 2011 seems tamed down even more. I'd want something loud Mustang also doesn't have the looks for me. Camaro ss does.

Can't you get a corvette coupe? Know the vert has sod all space but the coupe seems to have a mahoosive boot? Failing that, the camaro They seem to have toned down the mustang and the challenger doesn't do it for me.

Stillen pipe has no flexis either AAM does though. Yeah test pipes with resonators with the xyz and race cats = $$$ Just doesn't seem worth it tbh. Not sure I fancy running without cats at all though. Oh and I think the nismo has a resonator in the mid pipe but that seems to do feck all

Yeah, the berks won't put strain on other parts, but i'm concerned the nismo y pipe will But now I've heard how raspy unresonated test pipes are, damn

Mm but from what I've seen the nismo y pipe is also a bit shorter than the motordyne xyz and apparently that's another reason for the hfcs cracking.

Now, I know berk hfc's have a reputation for cracking with the nismo y pipe and the flexis on my y pipes are looking a little scraped. That and the stock cats Question is, what should I get for a bit more noise without rasp? Apparently the motordyne xyz w/resonator is pretty good for drone/rasp, but I'd just be concerned about being pulled. Motordyne xyz w/race cats going to have any effect whatsoever on the rasp from unresonated test pipes? Or the somewhat cheaper option, just stick some berk hfcs on, but considering the marks my stock cats have on them (thought it was just the flexis scraping ), i'm not exactly sure how the berks would fare. Would be nice to have to worry less about scraping

Thought it was the opposite, because higher inflated tyres have less contact, those bits get hotter and start to melt? Either way, there was the distinct smell of melted rubber and big chunks coming off the tyres when I made the mistake of running them at the same pressure as normal, or on a track, about 6-7psi higher (according to a tyre inflator).
