Hey, an audi q7 also looks like it should be in the bronx selling crack I just generally don't find any audis interesting though. But the s8 does have the lovely v10. I still haven't got my head around the sound of a derv and I can't imagine it appealing to a 21 year old for fun. The Q7 for me, like the X5 is just for posing in. It doesn't serve the purpose landrovers do, or the power the cherokee does.

The problem I find with using your hand is you can't really get a thin enough layer, all you get is messy big blobs of carnauba, which won't be removed as well as a thin layer of wax.

Urr, it really is both Not so much rasp now really at all tbh, that seems to have gone. Not sure about the metallic rattle, but I assure you, it's not rasp. It's something rattling against the cats when warm. Either way, it's the least of my concerns atm.

It only happens when it's quite warm tbh and even then, it seems to be getting better slowly. Used to do it all the time when easing off from 2k when warm. I'm not sure how a leak would cause the sort of noise. As other people have mentioned it could well be rattling against something, either way, i'll see whether abbey find anything when it goes in.

Mmmm I wasn't expecting the rasp with hfcs, but it's not too bad now. I think something is loose though as I still get a rattle easing off from ~2k revs. I'm not even sure adding another resonator would help, nismo already has one and that doesn't get rid of the rasp. I'm kinda liking the hiss you get when easing off now though.

Not really, it's jammed in behind the metal cover and the inside of the cubby hole, you wouldn't see much anyways, sub faces up and you'd see the box from the front but that's it. With the plastic bose cover on you can't see anything.

I'm not quite jdm enough for that title yet BTW, what offsets are you running on the volks? Bear in mind the oem nuts are ~40mm long, those are going to look lost in the front wheels.
