  1. Broken weld, same on top(pic shows bottom of exhaust)
  2. ITEM NOW SOLD I have just bought a new exhaust and have my old custom longlife true dual with x-pipe for sale! It was built buy planet performance near Irvine two years ago, 20k miles. It is damaged and needs some slight welding as the rear silencer bracket welds have broken in two places (three plates welded, one on top(broken same as bottom one) and two on bottom(as shown in pic below) also this was fitted to my JDM car so no idea if it will interfere with the uk diff fins as most true dual seem to have this problem. Looking for £80 +PP, Can post some vids of the exhaust when on the car 2months ago if anyone wants to hear it. It is not raspy, kinda burbles and not too loud thanks to the silencers after the x-pipe.
  3. got the same problem, thinking it might be because the standard shocks had a paper type gasket at the top to reduce clunks, since there is only two bolts holding the top I think there might be slight horizontal movement? Also heard if you set them to max stiff for a short drive then soften them up this can stop any noise, mine is not loud or that frequent(stripped out rear so no sound deadening either) so haven't bothered yet. But could also be my drop links as the car is old and bushes are worn!
  4. last small buy before the big one also as Neil said, my car is garaged soon too
  5. 300g or so, bit of lead plate and its bracket, worth saving a few quid just to remove it, just be carefull with the boot interior plastic clips.
  6. Think I paid around £300 for a good one which got a few chips in the post as the seller disputed, so £100 is very cheap
  7. Ouch, no blood and gore pics Looks like you have done a good job of the repair, did the fiberglass take well to the bumper? where did you get it from (have a small issue with my rear bumper plate light holder/lack of)

Hoping the company that made my custom exhaust with its "lifetime guarantee" are fed up with me taking it back due to it breaking all the time and will give me a nice discount and fit the new DC to get rid of me. otherwise I would have a long time ago Aiming for £600 and free fitting plus flog my old one one ebay as broken but fixable for £80 or something.
