  1. I didn't want to drive the car mine sounded that bad! Now I just dont drive her in the wet
  2. If you type 350z clutch cylinder into google images you will see pics of it and where it is, just pull back the rubber boot and apply grease.
  3. Had the same problem after fitting my carbon bonnet with vents, the water runs down the engine, gearbox and removes the grease from the clutch cylinder. Cars after 05? Have it built inside the bell housing or something but older cars like mine is visible from under the car and easy enough to grease. At work so cant upload a pic but if you need more info I will help you out later with one.

Talking note of this thread as all my bodywork is
  5. Nice spot, good bargin for someone!
  6. Might need to view it a few more times before I make my mind up but kudo's for trying something new.
  7. Just ordered one, thanks for the refresh/reminder
  8. How much oil had you used 'topping up' before you realised?
  9. For the amount your spending plus the sale price of a zed there are some tasty v8s out there, that are correct out of the box and easier to maintain. I have no idea what you are talking about??? I must only be on like £1500 or something lalala de de de nor do I keep written receipts to hand or view There isn't many (any?) guides for DIY V8 installs so I will keep with the bread and butter stuff like everyone else. Its proven to work and if something brakes worst case I loose all power and coast to a nice halt unlike a V8 swap with drive shafts flying up your ass or engine mounts dropping the V8 on your legs I only jest and would love someone to do a swap as most of us tend to follow what they know works or have seen.
  10. In my opinion (not that anyone should care or listen) VQ engines are better bang for buck since its in your car already, but would I swap the sound of my V6 for a V8? yes in a heart beat! Enough of a reason to go a head and buy the dam lazy lump so I can hear it and be jealous Wasso!
  11. Looking forward to the results so I can order a can. Get spraying
  12. Rs tuning is fully booked till 16th May =( so going to have to wait a bit longer. On the plus side I thought my pipe work was leaking(insert joke here) or rad fan was now blowing in a weird direction as everything on my passenger side garage wall was being blown about and felt like I had a hairdryer in the wheel arch area! After a bit of head scratching I remembered which way the bpv blows, blood*y hell its not half strong a gust! Note to self dont go near the car in a kilt!
  13. Looks much more aggressive and better! The stuck on carbon intake holes dont do the standard bumper much favours.
  14. Bought Ted on dvd then had a mix of Amigos and duchars ipa, wasnt even a stressfull sat working on the Z.
  15. Sounds similar packaging I got for my seibon bonnet which ended up scratched, Always better to over pad/package an item, its not that expensive for cardboard is these days?
  16. Tweeked the fuel pressure and she runs much better now, had the engine light and edc pop up when first started her outside the garage but after adjusting and pulling the battery it went away. Drove round the block and all values seemed steady enough. A/F = 14ish, Boost = 22ish, Fuel pressure = 43ish. The zspeed undertray hatch is quite close to the sump and had to remove one of its screw/bracket thing as it was touching and dont fancy rubbing a hole Reused a bracket for the coolant pipes to hold the wiring loom away from the spinning vortech tooth pulley also cable tied down a wire for the cam sensor which is very close and a little loose cable tie to stop the dip stick wandering into destruction http://s1168.photobucket.com/user/evilZ69/media/VID_20130420_130317_zps7b7baaf3.mp4.html (video of in car) Only wee scare was the slight knocking noise in the car but traced it to the supercharger and is the standard 'sounds like balls busting' vortech low idle problem. Should go away with the uprev and raise the idle to 1100rpm probably?
