  1. Happy for you mate, hope you get the rest of your parts soon! Nothing stopping you fitting the charger now? Or is it your daily driver? If you need any help, just give me a shout. Did you find out if I gave you the correct drill bit? 0.07" I think it should have been.
  2. Think this is the link for the manual, it should give you every setting you need, just finger tighten then go to 10nm I guess, http://www.350z-tech...p/Service_Guide (at work again so using phone which aint the best)
  3. Its a small Laser 5-25Nm torque wrench I got off amazon and a big silverline one that goes to 250Nm. I think the lowest torque required is around 5-6 Nm. Its a nissan manual I got off my350z or here somewhere.
  4. The motordyne one that came with mine was a thermal gasket but I swaped to an oem item when I was fitting my injectors as its easy to get a hold of and a wise idea to replace if its been on awhile. Have you downloaded the service manual? Its a well worth reading, as it gives you all the info you could ever want. I think the lowest torque required is 15-17. I will check in the morning when I am home from work. Think I bought a silverline torque wrench off amazon for 30quid, as above I will check once I get home.
  5. What is everyones view on which drop links to get? Going to buy eibac rollbars soon and lower the car again 15-25mm. Might aswell replace the old drop links while I am at it but will oem items cope with the drop in height and stiffer bar? Or do you have to go adjustable aftermarket?
  6. I would only get the lower intake manifold gasket if you are getting a spacer as they come with one (motordyne) I wouldnt use lock tight for any of the bolts in this job (had mine off many times and never used it). Thermal throttle body aint worth it in scotland but a torque wrench is a good investment, just make sure you get one that goes low enough as the bolts dont need much force.
  7. This ain't sounding too good for me with my INGs bumper (probably angled up slightly at the back) and seibon bonnet, which required careful setting of the bonnet catch. I will give it a shot tomorrow if its nice weather. Fingers crossed it fits.
  8. We're working on a Cold Air Intake for the Vortech How about that? Thankfully I am safe with my INGs bumper hole, cant get much better air flow to the filter, altho it could be bigger
  9. 800rpm? mine sits at 950rpm the rattling was doing my head in so made sure it wouldn't bother me anymore
  10. After this you are banned from advertising anything else relating to vortechs! I need to save money!
  11. Yes, it will fit. It is already on use on other cars in the US. Are you not going for this? http://www.buyimport...V6_p/640901.htm I keep looking for dia on pulleys and I thought the ati was 6.125 but think I am wrong. The one you posted looks good but would over spin my blower need to find the best combo.
  12. Is there enough space for the 3" pipe all the way down to the other pipe? Need to view my engine bay to remind me how cramped it is in there. Also need to ask Mark at Abbey his thoughts on how well this will work for me with bits I might buy; (3.12 pulley and ati fluid dampener crank pulley)
  13. I hate you....... I don't need this... I am happy with my power.... A V1 unpolished like GT4 Zed would be nice... if the price was right.
  14. I am pulling out of this one. Need to save some cash.
  15. What power are you aiming for Sam with the 3.12? I presume Bennet is up sizing to reduce the boost a little?
  16. Have you tried this yet mate?
  17. Do you also have the 3.12 pulley? (I am working up an appetite for this hp stuff ) Good luck with the 2.87 the power will be massive for a stock block though
  18. Damm lol Tarmac you beat me to it lol. Not ready yet as my paintwork is poo
  19. That was who Tarmac ordered through, he says he will never use them again they are that bad. You need to contact Vortech, I ended up speaking with this guy, Frank, fquintero@vortechsuperchargers.com Ask if they have had the order in from ass-tech and try to work back as we found that ass-tech tried to hold the money as long as possible and dont send any requests to vortech until you find out they have done sod all with your money. Good luck mate
  20. What company did you use? Please tell me it wasn't Ass-aultech
  21. No I only had half a tank left and you take take the pump carrier out to work on it, lucky Zmanalex gives you two o-rings in a pack spent 2hours with files trying to do it by hand with my dad holding the carrier upside down until we cracked and he went to b&Q. Just went for another drive..... its fun soooo much fun, this is what I imagined/wished my dream car would be like. Some people say the Z should have came with this power from the start... I disagree, its not for the faint hearted and makes you feel special (not the inbetweeners kind). You will love your car Ninja once its done.
  22. Cheers dude! Just need some new clips to hold them down, mine have seen better days.
  23. Warp factor 9, on your to do list you have always been stealthy about your build, glad you started posting stuff rather than people getting snippets from Octets ramblings
