  1. If this forum didn't have mad men it wouldn't be any fun or exciting any more! Good luck with whatever you decide to go for Also sorry about my first post been on 12 hour nightshift all week and now on holiday for a week so can actually read rather than think like a vulture. . . . . . . I am sure you will get some good money for your parts but turbo 370z is a big step up
  2. Dibs on the 3.12 pulley! The rest I will fight for in the correct way but screw forum eticet on that item. =)
  3. Thats very kind of you steve, might take you up on it. Is there any parts numbers on the clutch? Does it come with the release bearings etc? Cheers
  4. Nice read, good to get peoples unbiased views and comparisons to other nice cars, PS13 =)
  5. I've got a similar hack/cut on my fan housing , thought it was needed to get the vortech pipe down in that so called 'space' but in-fact you just need to push hard and hope nothing goes crack!
  6. I dont know about you but I can only just get my arm down the back of the fans to the belt tightener, I guess you will have to remove the undertray now? Looked at the mishimoto rad because its same size as stock, what one did you go for?
  7. Can you pm me some details of where/how you shipped it from the US? Needing a similar clutch myself.
  8. Not my cup of tea, done one before down south but have been asked (well I said I would organise) by my dad to get him a 4x4 off road day/trial somewhere in scotland. Have noticed one (can post link when using dam phone) for £90ish up to three drivers and approx 1.5hours in perth (I think). Has anyone done something similar that they recomend? Knockhill does one for £110 I think but not sure if its any good (only ever been interested with the tarmac routes).
  9. I could really do with a new clutch but as mentioned above, bit far for pick up lol.
  10. Welcome, good time to have a convertable =)
  11. I did but if you give the old one a slight rub of oil and check it over plus torque it down right, it should be fine. (didnt bother changing the gaskets on the plenum spacer which is just as likely to cos an air leak.)
  12. Have you got the replacement part? There should be a groove at the end which goes inside the fuel rail, this is where the o-ring sits. Not sure what size but if you are getting it from nissan it shouldnt be too expensive or hard to describe. This is the part you are replacing (ignore the AAM item)
  13. Just cut a 500ml bottle in half and use that to catch any fuel that leaks when you take the old one off. Think its two bolts with an allen key head so easy to remove. Just make sure you have a new o-ring attached to the new part when fitting. Also best to remove the battery and wait over night for the pressure to go down in the fuel system.
  14. I was hoping this wouldn't arrive till the end of the year now my mind is thinking about ordering the 3.12 pulley and fluidampner before I need it
  15. Seen this in the area a few weeks ago, very nice. Shame if it has bad history.
  16. Got BC also, ride adjustment can go from one extreme ti another but once you have a play its easy to find a setting you like. Only downside is the rear springs look like they are starting to rust even tho my car doesnt go out in the wet (when I can help it). Other than that pritty good.
  17. Think I posted a pic of my jdm rollbars next to my new eibach ones somewhere, either in my build thread or on photobucket, will check later when I am in from work. Cant remember much difference in size, but the rust on the original ones makes it hard to tell lol.
  18. Which shock you after? I have two fronts (I think) that came off my 2003 import with 40000miles (need to double check this).
  19. Bit of a revival, but just to clear things up, no where in writing on your documents does it say 5 mods but I was given a letter stating that they only insure up to 5 mods. I had 3 foreign call centre staff frig my policy supposedly, most staff are not trained correctly, something I was also told would be done to the staff that I had dealings with. If the mod does not show up in writing on your documents you can forget it!
