  1. Let me know when your finished as you keep changing your mind and I can't keep up, what car have you got again? ? ? =p
  2. Glad I can help show you what problems you might come up against, just note there is light at the end of the tunnel. Or as the missus says the dummies guide to 350z mechanics.
  3. I am also at 430flyhp, . . . . . bored.com where did you get yours tuned with the meth? post in the F/I section as I don't recall hearing about your car alexdax.

    Toyota FP-1

Different.... everything is a big YES! except the front, but I think it may grow on me. Very cool and hopefully they build something 'like' this.
  5. Not worth it. You would find other things that need changing just by opening it, also the labor costs rods are the first thing that go but bearings spin and so on....
  6. Overclockers are good to deal with, sent my motherboard with the i-5 4760K chip installed, stress tested and overclocked to something silly
  7. New PC games might be harder to install on the free OS I hear. Here is a cheap case that fits everything in (quite tight with my 290x vapor x graphics card though)http://www.sharkoon.com/?q=en/content/t9-value, only downside is the two silver buttons on the front are a bit cheap.
  8. I think Admiral only insure 5 mods if I remember (could be 6) let's just say they will take your money but don't count on being insured. My post might be still around if you want to search, two people confirmed they would insure my sc until I asked for all the mods listed and written proof. . .. they cancelled my insurance and said a mistake had been made due to lack of training. Needless to say I don't trust them or use them.
  9. Looks I guess even though it looks small (compared to the brute in the background) does it weigh a good few tonnes? 300hp aint bad
  10. some have lsd some have brembos, just your luck.
  11. If you keep it under 400whp (standard car will be about 260whp probably) I don't see why you need a rebuild unless you are unlucky. These kits are designed for stock engines. Don't get me wrong you will worry a lot more about your engine but plent have been driven for a long time on stock internals. 500whp is a different ball game.
  12. Forgot how nice a standard z looks, excellent pictures.
  13. Bollocs it's thurrock not tdi north, guess us guys in Scotland are screwed when it comes to the VQ.
  14. Bigger turbos should have been used, totally overkill. But glad this thread came up as the only vq35 builders I had heard of were Abbey and ame so might not have to travel as far for a build. =)
  15. I use clear sticky tape when she ventures out in the wet lol,
  16. Hope you get somewhere mate, Andorra has had cracking weather and tonnes of snow, think the French are struggling a bit for snow.
  17. Cheers guys for all the well wishes! 14N I used to be a skier but was too easy so moved to the dark side so I am a half breed so shouldnt have majorly messed up kids sledging down hills on their heads or anything.
  18. Took the plunge, asked the missus to marry me while snowboarding in Andorra. Pretended to fall on a red (she has never completed one successfully, she is only learning to ski.) And she went and blooming well said yes. Guess I have two things to save for now, wedding and engine build =-/
  19. Took your time! One I have been waiting to read for a while, good work dude. =)
  20. Any updates about the shipping of these mate? I have sent you a few PM's. Cheers
  21. Plenty build threads which use the items you have listed. Have a search for some of the people who have posted already.
  22. Do dw have a warranty? Or can you send them away for repair/cleaning? (Got me paranoid now lol). At least you also found that the kitentics is holding your baby back too.
  23. Where is the close ups of the other bits I spy in those boxes? 8-) looks like Christmas came early, spoilt for choice on where to begin lol
