  1. Thanks Ekonda, that's what I thought. Guess I will just wait till a few days before and try my luck if not, hopefully Mr postman drives something supercharged.
  2. As stated above I don't have my mot certificate =/ and the car has been on sorn for 6months. But the conformation idea is a maybe, wouldn't hold up with a hardass traffic cop probably though.
  3. Looking to tax my car at the end of the month but have misplaced my mot so have to do it online. When is the earliest time I can apply for tax for next month? They state it may take up to 5working days to arrive so do you think they would let me apply 5 days before the end of the month? (I remember when you go into a post office you can buy next month's start 2days before the 1st of that month.)
  4. That's what I'm talking about!!! Thunder contained in 8 cylinders!
  5. Found myself recently only viewing topics that reference performance or parts for sale, glad I was bored at work and strayed from my 'norm' no lol but a small chuckle here and there =)
  6. So it's a common trend that everyone who owns a 350z is ugly? Phheww! Makes sense now =p
  7. keep me updated as I still have mine in the box
  8. You could ask one of the members with an rx7 to measure their cars boot to roof height and compare it with the Z to see if it will work aerodynamicly?
  9. HKS also worth a shout, but as mentioned above, mostly the same.

    GOODIES :)

The bottom part of the suspension can be screwed off, it doesn't affect the range the piston inside can move, it is basically a mounting bracket that can be screwed up or down to adjust the ride height.

    My Supra

I am waiting for the day you buy an elephant. . . .Just cause it made sense at the time =p
  12. Looks ok to me(I am not a Porsche fan) but the black wheels and polished lip would tempt me to even say it's cool =p lol
  13. Fortunately I got a gopro for my Christmas and the suction mount so once she is taxed at the end of the month (and I find my mot certificate) I will post some vids for before and after reference (0-60, noise, etc) Just a few more tools needed (engine stand, crank pulley puller and plastiy gauge) then some kind words with my parents to use their garage (or totally refurb the leaky hole of a garage I use the now). No doubt I won't have found a new house by the time the machine work is done and will end up rebuilding the engine in my parents conservatory for cleanliness =s
  14. Shut it Ian lol, I loved vtec yo! So charging the Z made sense. Also everyone on the other Z forum switches the blower or changes the impeller, can't find anyone that has tried to push mine to see what it can actually give on a built motor.
  15. Polishing my rod and measuring my big end Trying out my new tools in prep of the build, all big ends measure 55.02mm +0.01 for two of them but was just a rough check. (tiny bit under the eagle website specs 2.1670 to my 2.1661inch) no scratches on the rods just some black stains from the old bearings that wont come off (at least I know they have not spun previously) Not taken the new bearings out the plastic to measure them yet as there is no point until I get crank pins checked for sizes. Started her up for the first time in a few months with no issues bar having to charge the battery beforehand. New job and wedding will make this a slow progress build (along with collecting the parts ) Still need to find a good machine shop in Scotland, only response I have had is from shops down south (well, one in hull), which want me to bring a block in rather than give me a quote for the work I require.
  16. Wow that came up really well, nice one =)
  17. I had to drill out the old screws like yourself they sheared off at the head too, now got a zspeed but have to cable tie the front as the bumper holes don't line up (aftermarket bumper), if doing anything under the car wd40 the hell out it!
  18. I've got my own bodywork issues I can't be arsed tackling so what's the chance I will do yours lol. Got a fiberglass repair kit sitting gathering dust =-/ not sure what filler I would use on yours as it probably quite bendy/flexible? But kidding aside and you need a hand give me a shout altho bodywork isn't my speciality!
  19. Will the badge hole be filled? Interested in the rim protectors, need to have a good look nxt time.
