  1. Unfortunately not all 350z can be live mapped, =( takes a bit more faffing on earlier jdm cars.
  2. Two days, three months and counting. . . Lol.
  3. Does not surprise me in the slightest.
  4. http://epoxy.tv/v/qclex Worth a watch if you have a bgw
  5. Impressed as usual with this thread. top work fella.
  6. Sorry to hear this, probably going to become quite common now. Engine swap is probably the way I would go, couple of the guys on here are doing some fruity ones just now so have a look, you might get some ideas.
  7. It's all a big learning curve, shame mine is a giant parabola and I am at the bottom
  8. Started the Keyser technique for removing the subframe bushes I had drilled around it for ages with one of those saw drill bits but they aren't long enough/very good Also had a wee hack saw blade but I became bored..... asked my mate to borrow his gas torch, shall see what happens next week and how much a mess I make on my parents drive (ain't I glad I moved the subframe to theirs ) Started dismantling the arms off the subframe so it can be sent to the shot blasters + fit the new sexy eibach and spl arms. Then I hit a snag while removing the ball joint nut. One was fine the other... Dam split pin wont budge, its an awkward angle, rusted solid and one leg has snapped. Can see me having to drill the dam thing. The threads are so the nut wont come off without a fight. If I had been smart (or just stuck to the plan and only changed the subframe bushes) I would have taken the driveshafts off when attached to the car as I dont have a vice and cant think how to get the huge 32mm nut off without hiring the hulk to hold it while I use my breaker bar I can see them staying on while I do funny angles and stances with the press to change the bushes on the hubs... doh.
  9. I heard it was off the edge of the world up a giant beans stalk but could be wrong. I am surprised the local council have not put sign posts up yet.
  10. Why are they looking at uprev if they can already map the 350z?
  11. *awaits money back*
  12. I used "you are"...... so I guess I win.
  13. No doubt it will be on the tarmac again before mine is even back together lol.
  14. Wow, sorry to see this mate, glad you are ok. Car looks like the shell is for the bin?
  15. I just bought a lot of sh'#t and its easter holidays.... doh, no chance hiding a 12 ton press, chainsaw/hedge trimer, bearing presses and some cool drill saw bit things that should make the whole bush issue go past in a breeze. If not I can go texas chainsaw in the local area.
  16. Unfortunately I dont have a home sand blaster so will have to find a local engineering shop to do some things for me The ones you posted are the same as the amazon one but a couple quid cheaper! shame I have to wait to find out if I have to pay postage as I am right on a green boarder where they might charge
  17. All the bushes lol. Would rather have the tools and skills for the future.
  18. After reading through keysers epic build thread again, I am looking for a standing hydraulic press so I can pop out the old bushes. Seen a cheap one on Amazon for £95 and some dies etc for an extra £30. Was tempted to burn out the big subframe bushes but will do it the hard keyser way of cut and thump. Anyway if anyone has Any cheap or recommend presses that would be cool.
  19. It's not really a hunt, my parents drove past the showroom and asked what's that!! Bit shocked when my dad said it was the new version of mine. She wasn't really looking for a new car but likes convertibles and rare motors. Also my sister has eyes on her old bmw convertible. It's a clean car, Just a few minor niggles.
  20. Cheers Will just what I was looking for.
  21. Will have you got Any links to pictures of roof damage near the window areas? Tried a search but nothing on Google and I need an account on 370z forum to view photos.
  22. Just been to look at a convertible blue 370z previous owners two, one from Glasgow area other greenockish. Car looked great few stone chips slight 1.5" wear spot on the roof beside the driver side window behind your shoulder area but the window drops fine so not sure how that happened also a dent in the kick sills another weird one. Main issue is its last service was end 2012 but has only done 4k miles since. (Last driver didn't use it much or deam it nessasery to service it =/ Anyone know or own up to being the owners? My mum of all people said she is interested in it. The exhaust shields look ok but flanges are rusty but no blowing yet. The dealer is asking 17999 seems legit. What's your opinions? Had a look through the 370z forum area (felt sick so had to return quickly to the 350z zone) but can't see many issues other than ones mentioned. Car is 11 plate so has all the good stuff. Cheers for any responses.
  23. Thanks Torqen for the sex wee spl arms and the rocker cover grommets but poor show for giving me the alignment tool first as I have enough on my plate! =p
