  1. First time the car has been within the tolerances I.e. all green =) normally couldn't get the back sorted due to lack of adjustment with the oem bolts/arms.
  2. Drove home and what a difference! It wasn't out wildly but it feels fantastic now! Big thanks to infinity again. No lights came on so guess it was just the bad alignment that caused it. Just wish it would dry up so I can go for a spirited drive and see how she feels on some twistys.
  3. Are the wheels not supposed to face 90° to the direction of travel? Lol.
  4. Just had the worst drive of my car since I got it, thankfully I made it up to infinity braehead for a MUCH needed alignment. Drove the car to work last night and did the differential break in procedure (figure of 8 for 30mins) changed the oil at 7am this morning before setting off up the road to Glasgow. Having only drove the car short distances and at low speeds I did not realize how out the settings were, thankfully it was slow going and didn't have to go above 50mph to get here. I have however got the slip and vdc off lights up with no codes showing, probably the alignment plus the new differential that has caused it, hope it clears (unless I've mixed the sensors up on the diff.)
  5. The correct answer is to call the police and your insurance. But if you were to retaliate (which I don't condone ) you would have to go full metal jacket bat sh&$ crazy so it doesn't become tit for tat. Guy is obviously a tw@t and hope you get it sorted.
  6. Also what way do these dam things go in? flaps up or down? managed to fit one side (flaps facing up and open, which didn't seem logical) but could not fit the other side.
  7. 8 months of waiting, what a difference it is to drive a nice quick car for a change! Bit worried but she fired up first time, no issues! well until I reversed her out and heard the new low speed turning noise lol, wow tyre scrabble is weird feeling/noise, but the suspension seems fine, had a noisy front brake but it didn't last too long. The geo is out but bought my dad some laser measuring tools so I will borrow them and give it a quick alignment to get me up to infinity glasgow. Tried the brake in procedure for the kaaz diff but not many car parks near me so ended up down in the marina going 12mph towards a camper van then turn and 12mph towards a parked car, only lasted 10mins before I thought someone (camper van man) will call the cops, cos there is a loony driving in a figure of 8 at low speeds looking weird. Also unused chewing gum can become a liquid after 8months in a car
  8. Toe rods? To adjust toe you need the adjustable spring bucket arms or the toe cam bolts as you mentioned, the spc bolts get you to drill out the holes to allow you to increase the toe more than stock.
  9. "But fortunately for Alex, he can exert a force of 5 tons with his index finger and can gauge the difference from his 1 ton pinky finger" some might say.
  10. At least its not a scary job like cutting up a fuel bucket don't envy you there! I thought my blunt 38mm hole saw would work but it was just a tad wide an ended up going over the edge of the bush at one side when I tried using it in the press, hence the angle grinder was out again on my dads oil tank with the 32mm steel cutting hole saw close behind.
  11. Made more tools today as guess what! These other bushes are a different size! Then the missus said "I want to see jurassic world" So will have to wait till tomorrow to finish pressing in the bushes also the missing bush should arrive
  12. Whats in the S2 kit? Does it allow you to add fuel rails onto the AAM basic kit (something I have and would like to upgrade eventually) Looks like red is the in colour this year for under car parts
  13. Need your wonderful services again check you PM. More of those whiteline bushes
  14. Expecting an easy job of removing the hubs/wheel bearing from the bushing carrier and brake shield. . . What a rusty pile of @#&% had to hammer the dam thing off and wedge in a chisel to pry it apart! Needs a good clean and sand so there goes the idea of having it back together tomorrow =(
  15. Back together, back apart.. These bolts were a pain to get off ended up sitting on the floor with my feet on the bush arm bits a breaker bar on the bolts/nuts and a metal rod through a bush to brace it against with my other arm looked like a fud but it worked after nearly dislocating my dads shoulder the day before while having him try to help hold it. Then it went back on the car to remove the ball joint nut which just spun thanks to another thread and Zmanalex for the wooden plank technique. Just finished pressing out the old bushes now require a second set of hands to help me separate the hub from the bearing/brake shields. Fingers crossed for better weather tomorrow and she should be fully back together
  16. Joined the cool gang as Alex technique doesn't require me to break my 64 year old father and it had backing from ChrisB.
  17. http://www.amazon.co...ailpage_o08_s00 Not the best quality but do the job, the tops of the extenders are rounded and only have a small flat so can be a pain unless you hammer them so they have a larger flat and less chance of flying out your press.
  18. Just read your post, if it's pressing out you are struggling with you can get a cheap set of die's off amazon, I will try looking but think they were 15-20£ or something.
  19. I ended up getting a hole saw and cutting out a steel washer must have been 3-4mm thick and it started to bend when I put my 35mm socket on it so wouldn't advise that technique as it only just worked.
  20. You can make an arm but you can't follow a template? http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/64159-scream-if-you-want-to-go-faster/page__st__280 Bottom of page. You get a template that sits in the gap and you just mark it out, best to use a dremel as a normal drill probably wont fit unless you have the whole innards out like I have.
  21. Or get the spc rear toe bolts and elongate the hole to give better toe adjustment. Just done mine
