  1. nice car, have you any other pics of your exhaust? Looks different to the ussual hks ones?
  2. Had the car up on the trolley jack, turned one wheel the other didnt move then just to make sure tried moving the other one. forgot it was wet when I last used him and the brembos had seized. After moving him back and forth, jacked its fat ass in the air again and to my delight both wheels turn in the same direction when you move only one so I've got a LSD, I presume its the viscous type just without the optional NISMO cooling fins that UK models get as standard.
  3. I havent changed the diff oil yet just asked alex ages ago about it. You can still get the back end of a rwd car out even if it dosent have a lsd. Mine is very easy to get the rear hanging out as all the boot plastics are gone.(some weight in it all).
  4. So I guess I should put the car on axil stands and have a go turning a wheel when in neutral? if the other wheel turns its a vlsd? I think mine is a track spec JDM
  5. Yours is a non VLSD and therefore took the hypoy type oil. The VLSD fluid is specialised and not suitable for your non VLSD. Normally the diffs are easily identified as the VLSD have the coolant fins on the pumpkin. Remember now? Alex Im having a bit of deja vu cheers alex, just to clear things up(cant be bothered checking wiki lol) a hypoy is a type of mechanical diff? Whats the main drawbacks/advantages?
  6. Its a hypoy type diff just re-read my PM's
  7. I believe not all JDM's got the viscous diff as when I went to service mine I noticed mine was different and I think ZMANALEX told me mine was a mechanical one?
  8. Mines a JDM and its a mechanical one
  9. its the top 3 from each round matey, theres a 300zx, me and a skyline r33 so far i think Get your car in for the next round mate How many rounds/ knock-out stages are there? My car isn't really a show car, also its not even halfway through my build process. I love reading the magazines but prefer it(more interested) when major engine/handling work has been done to the cars, so would be a hypocrite to myself if I entered.
  10. Got my vote I wonder if we can have an all 350z final whos entering next time?

    A little bit different
  12. An Ideal spoiler would be just below the roof line of the car and have a very little gradient in the middle to reduce the drag coming from the turbulent air passing over the roof. It will add weight and downforce but considering your adding weight over the front in the form of the supercharger its a good way to keep it balanced.
  13. seen some guy using the same set up when I was in Andorra couple weeks ago didnt think it would work that well now I want one! Only problem is I gave up skiing for snowboarding not sure how well it would hold up on the front of my board (I like to get big air then )
  14. not a fan prefer the old 370z
