Just make sure you put oil in it Ant I have found Opie Oils have always been really helpful with what oil/fluids to use -

If your happy with the work and you are going for the clear wrap, makes sense to get Taras to do it does it not? After all he is a wraper lol. That is who I was going to use

Thanks Guys this has given me alot of food for thought! So I just need to decide what I want more: 1. Appreciate the paint in all its glory 2. Protect the precious paint, and have a little more peace of mind

I spotted this supplier in 2008/9 when I got the Zed, and pretty sure it's changed names a couple of times. I did enquire once and really glad I never persude it after your comments.

Gym workout, reviews on pre and post workout
malibu stacey replied to ddcboyle's topic in Off Topic Discussion
This is spot on but there is also lots of good supplements with slow release protein for night time instead of the cottage cheese before bed route. Oh also I don’t want to inflict the horror of anyone seeing me after one of those workouts! -
Gym workout, reviews on pre and post workout

I agree that maximuscle is a pile of rubbish. I also think the fitness supplement market is flooded with a lot of rubbish and advertising I watched a really interesting programme a few months back (think it was Panorama) that ripped apart sports drinks and trainers, research proved that alot of the advertising claims were not actually supported by actual evidence. Which is pretty scary when these claims are the main reason we part with our hard earned cash. The best part was Graeme Obree- 'the flying Scotsman', former cycling world-record holder and Olympic champion, who said his secret to success was bread (carbs) and jam (sugar) sandwiches, water and balanced diet. I think alot of the results from taking supplements are physcological, we believe it works, work harder and make the most of the feel-good factor that it adds to the hard slog of training in order to keep fit, get fast and look good! I am not completely against it as have the odd protein shake (Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard) after a work out when I'm running on empty and can't get to food quick enough. But I am concerned with number of articles that say high protein diets are bad for your kidneys because of the amount of protein they must get rid of. The perfect recipe is to train hard and eat well My favourite way to get ripped in weeks is with a lot of hard work - Insanity Workout!! Dig deeper -
I could never park over two spaces, it’s just asking for trouble from idiots who don’t give a s*** about their car, and just want to wind you up. So the Zed is always at the furthest end of the car park (good for burning of the doughnut calories I consume at work) next to a wall or pillar, and if all else fails next to the most expensive car possible. I have clambering out of the car when the door is a jar, keeping my modesty down to a fine art! Love the fact you got away with this Rich! If only I had the balls, would love to to see the recipients face

Thanks for this extremely helpful! It never ever crossed my mind to compare the price to the cost of respraying the front end (blonde!)

Don't wish to be horrrible, but maybe you should have waited till after the winter !! Cost of wrap ? How good a job it does ? Looks when removed ? All things to think of, but you could end up having to have it re painted for the shows next year. How long is a piece of string ???? As stated in my post the car will stay garaged for most of the winter so the timing of the respray is not an issue, it was a now or never situation. I was thinking off having the wrap long term if it could save stone chips cracking the bumper, I know how much it costs and I think it is pretty reasonable if it works. I was just after feedback from anyone who has used a similar product previously to help make a decision. Yes, I have been told to leave it at least 6 weeks.

Hi All, Having just parted with a wedge of cash getting the car resprayed I am extremely paranoid about stone chips. The car used to be my daily, however so far I have managed to kick the other half out of his Focus and on to a push bike so my car can stay in the garage (Not sure how long that will last with our wet winters! ) To remedy this I am considering having the front end of the car wrapped in 'Car Protect' transparent polyurethane film. I am after peoples thoughts and opinions of the product, i.e. how long it last, does it discolour in the sun, does it effect the look of the paintwork. My car will be attending a lot of shows next year so I do not want to comprimise the deep shine & reflectiveness of the paintwork. Thanks S

Funny you should say that! I would prefer the seats in a diiferent colour also, however this won't be a priority to change as my aim is to strip it out & track spec it in a few years when I can afford my second car (The GTR ) Think I'm dreaming! Far too many aims & ambitions and not enough cash! It's having new brakes all around and still deciding what colour to change the calipers to, black or white? Problem being I still haven't decided on the wheels Initially I wanted Chrome Volks but I am concerned it could be too bling against the pearl paint. Cheeky!
