I sent this item out for Lee a while back when i was trying to help him with his forum stuff. It was sent first class but unrecorded as the part was not of the highest value. It is a shame that it did not arrive and i am sure Lee will, if he hasnt already make a refund on the item. Lee is hard to get hold of as he works ridiculous hours and is rarely off the phone with work related calls. Since i have started working for Falcon i can see what he always meant about it being non stop. The garage is the best in the north east and run to a very high standard by Lee's brothers, Steve and Dane. Falcon engineering is also insanely business at the other office (where Lee works) and even i struggle to get hold of him when i need to sort work related things with him.

if a garage uses customer supplied parts the garage has no liability for the parts. if there is a fault and it turns out to be a fitment issue then yes, the garage is responsible, but if it's part failure then no.

well, she goes up and down the drive, just. think i may have to lift her a little but going to run her for a few weeks first then decide. currently getting the audio install done and it's looking great. also bump for falcon facebook. check out the "Best Beetle of Show" at BugJam 25 on the homepage. Its literally dead when it goes mate - accelerator does nada - you can deck it to the floor and it won't do anything - its as if you've taken your foot fully off the pedal when it goes. hmmmm, not good. with my very limited mechanical knowledge i cant really be of any assistance, but i will ask the lads at work tomorrow and text you with any ideas. think you may have to take it somewhere to be looked at though. maybe a trip to visit the sunny north east and have falcon look at it for you. could be a fueling issue. do you get any noises, like a knocking sound if you try to gently rev it when the power is dropping? have you tried planting your foot to see if you can power through it.

will that file nt be in with cookies or internet files? if you can find it swap out the code and don't delete the cookies amd it should work
