i have a kenwood cdplayer/radio in, fitted by previous owner, can get radio1 which is saved as a preset but when i scan for other channels cant find them, cant even find radio 1 again, and even using the preset the signal constantly drops. whats this frequency shifter thingy all about? also, 05 jdm, dont know which model though. any idea how to find out.

i almost spend that much on a classic, a little more tbh, but that was a 67 shelby gt 500 fastback, aka eleanor. would definately not spend it on that though. not special enough.

the interview with him is quality, he's more bothered by the fact he didn't get to drive. "it wasn't that bad from in the car", i know what colour my pants would be if that happened and i was driving.

not sure where i stand here... 05 jdm, only been in the country for about a year, i bought it 2 weeks ago and had to pay 435 for 12 months tax. is that right or should i have paid the lower amount? stupid tax, wouldn't mind paying it if they fixed the f'ing roads.

re cd player, just make sure the car warms up nice and quickly

i just got mine too, just went for 'z' on the bottom, nice idea to put the forum on, thought of it after i ordered. oh well, will have to get some stickers.

where did you get the clips from?

not car related, but definately police incompetence related.... whilst workin in a pub a customer was threatened by a man with a knife. we somehow managed to get him to leave without hurting anyone, he didn't go far though, he paced up and down the road outside after tellin the chap he threatened he would wait till he was out the pub to get him. we used the cctv radio to inform the police. they said they couldn't send anyone because he wasn't doing anything wrong at the minute and to inform them if he re-entered the pub or did anythin outside. we were shocked by this. after about 3 hours, the bloke still outside in the pouring rain, the police turn up, find the knife on him and take him away(free lift home i believe). turns out, they did give a @*!# what we had told them. it was only when they got the 6th call from other punters who were scared to leave that they decided it was worth doing something about. and just to add to my disrespect for the police and opinion they should spend more time solving actual crimes.... i got arrested and charged in court, for swearing. absolute joke. anyway, rant over. ASBO for driving, brilliant, almost as good as the lass who got one for having loud sex.

drove down to nurrish's yesterday, around about a 400 mile round trip (on one tank of fuel too, very impressed) Cheers Nurrish for installin my nav. 3 little problems with the day though. 1. centre console won't clip back into place properly, will have a fiddle with that today 2. electric cubby cover stopped working, hoping its just confused and sorts itself out. 3. well, a pic would explain it better i think fairly sure this shouldn't happen driving up the motorway
