Honestly doesn't sound like the amp, sounds like they still haven't earthed it properly to me unfortunately -
That's why I was asking about the amp but even then noise like this is normally wiring or earthing related

Well that's not acceptable is it? If you paid for the, to install it there should not be alternator whine or any other type of interference. Did they supply everything as well like the amp?

Ian I applaud your obvious enthusiasm for your audio but a Zed is an awful place for SQ on the move even with a tonne of sound proofing, let alone a V8 and an exhaust that would wake the dead Have to say I love it though, even if it doesn't make any sense -

Sounds like a wiring insulation problem or not adequate earthing or even connectors loose, did you fit it yourself?
