  1. Yeah, that was my first though, but then decidec to remove the gauges altogether, including the bottom cup bits that are stuck down, decided to pop them out so I only had the centre console frame, then replaced the gauge cups back, which was easy enough with the help of superglue and a soldering iron (plastic welding). so the di-noc strectches around the edge and out of sight and ends up looking quite tidy. I took mine apart too but I still cocked it up! I got some cheap RSW stuff now that just needs a bit of a freshen up I'm gonna use the bit of Di-Noc I got left to do the lower lip on the front bumper when my Zunsport grille arrives
  2. Are they the Dutch guys who used that expanding foam stuff to kill the cameras? yep they are also the guys who shoot them, burn tyres on them, pull them out of the ground, and blow them up with explosives. it was one of their members who used to mark them for death in pink to taunt the police, and then at some point he'd blow it up and the police wouldn't know when 2 of the cameras on my commute were burned 2 years ago, one 1 made it back
  3. I feel your pain as I did the same to my centre console. I tried and tried to stretch the stuff into the gauge mount but ended up cutting round it and it looked crap. I was never totally in love with it as I thought it was a bit dull shame it doesn't come in a gloss finish. Great stuff (if frustrating) to work with, just keeps stretching!!!!
  4. Ok be gentle as I'm certainly no professional at cleaning a car but here are a couple of pics of Z, unfortunately the sun had gone in by the time I finished! I bought the car in December its now done 78k (5k by me alone since I got it) and so far I have fitted - Stubby aerial (Envy) Satin Z badges (Envy) 20mm/25mm spacers (CS) Pop Charger (JDM) Carbon Gear & Handbrake Gaiters (Readline Goods) LED lights for Interior & rear (AutoBulbs Direct) Tonneau (pbannister ) Tonneau & RSW Interior (Bennett ) Brushed Gear Knob & Tax Disc Holder (William - KTA ) Pioneer F900bt New Handbrake Cover Just want to say that all the above traders on here are top notch only slight dissapointment was the Tonneau from pbannister but that was just a personal thing nothing wrong with the actual item. Met up with Bennett and also the 350z-uk legend that is Nurrish last week and found out that the previous owner obviously had some good taste and £'s as I already had clear front reflectors and LED rear light I haven't taken any interior pics as I still have a couple of things I want to get sorted before it looks to me.
  5. well bloody get the pictures up then out of stock 7-10 days wait....
  6. Would like one of these but it would show up my other 2 pedals and foot rest, any idea where I could get new ones?
  7. Why not go to a decent ICE centre, then you can get some advice and shouldn't cost you more than £50-£80 for fitting depending on what you want done, just HU or more. That said there are loads of members with lots if knowledge on here. Have a look through some posts on here to give you some pointers, to be honest it's fairly easy to get into the centre console, it's just the wiring that's fiddly but only if you have steering controls really.
  8. Iv'e gone for black for my Azure
  9. I've got similar rings in my other car, very easy to fit just a bit of bending and they go in fine, look good and cheap price too
  10. Thanks Gaz! I definately want them so I will take you up on that when I can afford them again. Will need a few other pieces of you also! Will claim for a refund off this guy and come straight to you once i have dough! I am starting to think the same thing Beavis! THink he may have been offered money for his car and not took the time to get them removed! Hoping the car joins the forum. Well they are in the picture of the engine bay in the advert so if I had bought the car I would want to know where they are too. It's a good job his posts were locked to stop any further problems, just unfortunate for you that you lost out. Good luck if you go down the court process, just a complete hassle.
  11. I have the satin one on my Azure Z, they match the 350z badge on the back nicely and dont look too shiney IMO not sure how they look on a silver one but probably
  12. As per PM, definitely intested in the RSW kit if you decide not to take srobrien's interior as a swap and also don't break up the kit as I see someone is interested in just the electric window cover. Cheers Dave
  13. Nissan 350Z Z33 3" Y-Rohr Y-Pipe Edelstahl 76mm - looks just like the JapSpeed one...
  14. Definitely interested in the tonneau cover and possibly the CF interior bits if srobrien hasn't got in first and your close enough to maybe help me remove the bits from my car. PM sent
  15. How much was a P3? Also did you wait and if so how long was it? I'm fairly close and in need of a service pretty soon, cheers
  16. Hmmm isn't adding a bonnet bulge a bit like stuffing a sock in your pants? Only joking it looks
  17. All I've done so far is the 2 pieces of the centre console, the bit round the gear knob was easy, I had to take it apart to fit a new gaiter anyway, just some real stretching round the curves. I'm not happy with the top bit, quite tricky and I messed it up a bit round the gauges still enough left to have another try though! I want to do the silver bits on the steering wheel but I'm not sure how they come off... I guess it's a pretty reversable mod inside or out, I wasn't sure on the interior at first but it's grown on me, apart from the bits I stuffed up!
  18. I've done my centre console in the same stuff, need to do it again as made a couple of mistakes. I have to say as I have identical car (colour, rays etc) it looks far better standard imo but fair play for the quality of the job.
  19. Good call, just downloaded the PDF to my iPhone, will come in handy I'm sure.
  20. No worries it was just that's where mine was and I looked a spanner when I phoned the dealer and got then found it!!!!
  21. They turn the backlights up or down, have you looked in the cubby behind the passenger seat, there is a secret floor to it and that's where my manual was, found it a couple of day's after I got my car.
