  1. I feel your pain, I cleaned mine friday lunchtime and it rained friday night Luckily I had a nice run down to Brighton inbetween
  2. Are these filters any good? They seem cheap and get some good reviews, but then some others say that are rubbish
  3. Alex is so quick delivering I think he flies the stuff in his Superman outfit
  4. That's a good price, I paid £200 but that was for Eibach ones
  5. When I bought my Zed I was told there wasn't much room for haggling as there were another 3/4 people after it, and I think that was true. So I haggled on the part-ex, a 2005 Hyundai Coupe. The guy said that the book price was £5k but as it had a nasty scuff on the front bumper it would be £4.75k tops. After mucho haggling and furrowed brows he agreed on £5.5k. After all the paperwork was done he asked me how much I had lost on the Hyundai as he noticed I only had it for 11 months, I told him I paid £4k for it He actually saw the funny side of it, which was nice To be honest I wanted the car and would have given in but I thought it was worth a shot.
  6. Good job that man! Shame your not further south
  7. Very nice I very much doubt you will get 60mpg probably more like 45-50mpg combined but thats still double the Z so I had a Leon FR TDI thats mapped to 210bhp and I can get 45-50mpg if I drive like a grandad I tell you something a diesel hatchback with power like that will feel just as fast as the Z, its just the looks and sound you will miss Nice colour too
  8. Have you got one of those Capitol Gold Love CD's in the car? I think I know what you mean though, mine is my daily driver too and it still makes me and sometimes yes it does feel like it has an extra little bit of
  9. It's not that bad, I had a service done there recently and it was cheaper than the dealers quoted me. I think what BladesGrant meant was when you go to Abbey and start talking to Mark and see all the precious things they have you will be and then saying to you hard earned £££
  10. 25 on the rear does not cause any issue unless you lower it
  11. Sorry, when you say tag everything, is that like CDDB thing where it'll download music info from a centrally stored database, or do you mean manually tag 400 albums and all the songs within? Please be the latter... I use a program called mp3tag Only have to use it for a few albums that the cddb cant. You can choose to convert wma or mp3 or just leave them as you have them with iTunes
  12. I always wanted an Azure, looked a couple of GM ones but knew I would always be a little sad inside driving one.... A GM may be gorgeous when gleaming, but an Azure is gorgeous even when it is dirty
  13. Ah but it might have a Nismo sticker somewhere
  14. isnt it possible to swap the lot? it would look better and cant be that hard ? Handbrake would be tricky, I had to wreck mine to change it, non reversable mod
  15. They are about £24.99 on Amazon
  16. I'm not fashionable either but why hate something for no reason? Sound quality is fantastic and you can put some games/apps etc on too so where is the bad news? Get a 64GB iPod touch, you don't have to convert anything you don't want to and the interface is superb if you take the time to tag everything and update the album info.
  17. I have the Buddy Club and I think it would be too loud with the Berks. I have the bungs in at the moment as I live in a very built up area and work nights I think someone on here did have that setup from what I have read and it was VERY loud
  18. Cheers guys, I ran an earth to a bolt just underneath the centre console as when I first installed the Pioneer it would not fire up and I read on here that it needed to be earthed. After I installed the unit and found it was VERY quiet I got 2 RCA boosters, well I got one for the front then realised I need 2 to get the balance right. I earthed both to the same point on the chassis. TBH I dont want to go digging around back in there as I got seriously when I installed it all, I was just wondering if I could quickly insulate any certain wires etc? Anyway thanks for all the help, I may be changing the front and rear speakers so if I do I will get a pro to do it and rewire, and also sort this issue out at the same time
  19. Actually i'm struggling to tell which is which... This is the best though -
  20. Is there anything I can get to insulate the wires?
  21. I have noticed a slight whining noise on my Pioneer which im sure wasn't there before It follows the acceleration of the car if that makes sense. I checked the earth on my unit and both the RCA boosters and they all seem fine, anyone got any advice? TBH its not really an issue unless I turn the unit right down, which doesn't happen too often, but I would like to get it sorted out.
  22. Its not that difficult, im no ICE expert but ive got my pioneer working ok. You just need to make sure you get the right connectors especially the steering wheel adapter. There are several things to look out for like the Bose unit is earthed differently to most aftermarket units so you have to earth them yourself, and if you end up with a quiet unit you can get RCA boosters that will sort it out, I got front and rear boosters for £30 and now the level is absolutely fine
  23. I like the 'Colour coded dash' = Halfrauds white spray painted dash You can just see it in the 3rd pic oh and you can see the reflection in the 2nd pic, maybe thats why he only drove it at weekends.... in the dark
