I had this on PC it is a simulation so very tricky if I remember rightly.

From what I have seen and read the 'multi' for sale threads are a mess, so I know it's slightly more work but I would put a thread up for each thing for sale (like rtbiscuit did) then you don't miss 'dibs' and get abuse

Yeah but I've only been driving 4 years and have got a new car each year... 2006 - 53 Mazda 6 2007 - 57 Leon 2008 - 55 Hyundai Coupe 2009 - 54 Z 2010 -

I had the money for a new Golf but I went for the Leon (which is 40% VW, 50% AUDI & 10% SEAT crappy plastic ) I don't like to follow the trend, so no Audi BMW or VW badges... The only Honda that maybe fits is the Civic diesel which is 2.2l I believe but I really don't like the look of it with that HUGE plastic bit that runs around it

My 'other' car is nearing the end of its Warranty so I'm wondering if I should keep or trade... Its a 57 plate Seat Leon FR TDI, few cosmetic mods nothing mechanical. Its done 34k in almost 3 years and I bought it originally to commute weekends from Somerset to London, but ended up moving to London 3 months after I bought it My current commute is 18miles and I work nights its on dual carriageway and motorway with little or no traffic so more often than not I use the Z, I have to use the Z every other week anyway as my missus also works nights. It's not the most econimical for a diesel, it probably averages 35ish mpg around town and 45ish mpg on the motorways but.... it is a rocket! In gear it is easily as quick as the Z and although the ride is pretty harsh it handles like a train on tracks. So really I have the best of both worlds, just me and the missus but if we need a couple of extra seats we can take the Leon, but most of the time we take the Z (even shopping ) I can't think of anything anything I would rather have than the Leon (size, looks, practicality & economy) I DON'T want an AUDI or BMW and it has to be a small hatchback for the missus to drive to work Any idea's what I could look at? Hatchback Diesel Decent looking Sporty Good Handling / Economy etc Not sure what the Leon is worth but would be looking at similar maybe a slight upgrade...

Probably get mixed responses to that question! I think as long as you let everything warm up before you push it too hard you will be fine, but that's in general anyway not just for new cars. Basically what Chris said much better

Getting a bit of a witch hunt now.... Couple of questions not having a pop, just wondering... has any member actually complained about AlexZ charging them? A Mod started this thread, why? Couldn't it have just been sorted out in private? Like I said before I understand we need rules etc but is there any need for a public flogging? Oh and Alex, sorry the post where I said I would reveal all was not serious I wouldn't muddy the water, If I wanted to post it all I would have done weeks ago. I can kind of see why you want to get everyone that has paid to agree but seriously why? They had a choice at the time, nobody forced them (including me) now you have been given an ultimatum it's YOUR choice and i'm afraid it is you that is starting to look a little silly now... It could take a long time to contact everyone and get their 'consent' those that are calling you names and saying you are this and that should just can it, we have had a few email exchanges (thanks to crappy o2 email! ) so I know you are neither a chancer or a trying to make money out of members otherwise you wouldn't have included a shopping list for those of us that are electrically challenged or included your mobile number if we had problems. So the name callers should back off and let you make a decision, but the longer you take the less credibility you hang onto my friend.

Thanks for the replay Martinmac, the inital people agreed not to sure the info as they were paying for the it themself. Non of the mebers had a problem with this and were happy. This has been said over and over, like my e-mail mentioned if the people who have paid for the mod are happy with it going public I'll post the thread myself in the "Guide Section". Two of the paying members already have said ok on this thread.Without my pm's I'm unsure who the other members are due to me deleteing my personal e-mails to keep my phone clean. Once the member who have paid agree the info will be made public. Thanks Sparky, glad your still happy with everyhting. Alex Can't see why anyone that has paid the £10 would complain Alex, think of it like an iPhone app, you pay a £1 or so if you get it straight away or wait a few weeks and it's 59p or free, thats the way it goes... I think you should go public otherwise you could pay the £25 and then other members can just circulate the info once more and more get it done. After I got the info emailed to me I told another member (the one that posted the thanks thread) about it but it never entered my mind to just send him the details and he never asked, but plenty more people wouldn't play it that way I expect... All a lot of fuss over quite a nice neat little mod, and for those saying they don't want to always fold them, the mod gives you the option to have it on or off Unfortunately you have to have rules otherwise forums like this just get silly, in general this is probably the best run forum i'm a member on

Is it just me that doesn't get the packaging thing? You pay 10 times as much for something that has never been touched, but you can't touch it either Things like this should be in a museum, where is the fun in just looking at it, I would rather pay a few hundred for a knackered one and then build a ramp!

I always fold my mirrors so thought I would give this a go, £10 for the how to plus a shopping list so you get the right bits, great for anyone that isn't that clued up on these things. I don't understand why you don't give something back to the forum though, it's a great mod so why not either pay the trader fee then make the relays up and sell them with the guide? You must have made a few £ now and I for one wouldn't be bothered if the info appeared for free tomorrow I've read a lot of your threads and you seem a decent bloke, and I don't think you intentionally went out to screw anyone, just do the right thing now and all will be forgiven

I would say you are looking at 1k for a decent job, obviously you could probably find cheaper or much more expensive, if you google you will find loads, you usually have to email them with a rough idea of what you want.

Yep, I had a nasty feeling it was gonna eat into my holiday spending money... shouldn't have been worried, apart from a new clutch (not surprising really given the mileage) the car hasn't missed a beat And it was an S20004U car too
