Yeah but what about all the other idiots in the snow, you can be as careful as you like then someone slides into you... Just not worth the risk if you don't have to. If you have no choice then yeah just take it easy.

If I didn't have the other car I would get a shed for winter, its just not fun in the Zed whatsoever. I found it sooo tiring the 18 miles felt like 18,000 ! If we have snow I will be covering up the Zed and not touching it till it's all melted

Im a word YES I bought my Zed last November and we had really bad snow in SE January time, it took me 4 hours to get my Zed 18 miles... and those 18 miles were the worst of my life Lots of slipping, lots of TC sounding like someone hammering on the underside of the car. I honestly felt 20 years older when I got in.... Never ever again! The next day it was worse, I got in my little FWD Diesel Hatchback and had no problem at all!

If I were you Chris I would find somewhere to stash the original HU, if/when you come to sell/px the car you can stick it back in the car in 10 mins and keep or sell your aftermarket one. I doubt (could be wrong) you will get £100 or maybe even £50? Just my 2p

I got some cheap RS4 alloys for my Seat from them, only £600 including decent Toyo tyres, but I wouldn't get alloys for the Zed from them Try the traders on here, they will know all about the right offsets etc etc and probably do you a decent deal too Sometimes members flog their alloys when they sell up, so sometimes you can get a bargain there too

Totally agree, I have almost 1,000 CD's in my loft which are all ripped onto a HD and plugged into my PC & PS3. Apart from wii games I can't remember the last time I handled a CD. I can remember as a kid sitting with my sony radio/cassette taping the top 40 on a Sunday night, pausing it when the DJ came on with the countdown... was that so very different?

A guy I work with has had the letters from this firm, I'm not for one minute condoning downloading and filesharing but the way this form went about things was wrong on so many levels that it is nice to see them in this position. Some VERY sensitive information out there in the public domain now and hopefully a £500,000 fine and a close down for ACS. Some of the Email that have been leaked are extremely private (and therefore interesting) such as ones to his ex-wife. A superb example on how bad Nissan is!! I cant understand how Nissan get away with such bad service????? It's not just them, most main dealers are the same. Obviously a few good examples, Mazda were always very good I found. I'm lucky the only time I have been to a Nissan dealer was to have a look at local Zed's, not to buy just so that I didn't buy the first car I saw Only thing to do is decide to keep at them and wear them down, at the end of the day they want to get away with doing as little as they can and charge you if they can get away with it, you just have to accept that and then start wearing them down instead of them wearing you down.

If you can get a 2nd hand Pioneer BT adapter they use Parrot software anyway and it all links into the unit I have a F900BT so mine is all built in along with satnav etc but then it was a fair bit dearer

Chris I feel your pain, nothing worse than being f****d around, just stick with it and see what the warranty company say. It's a shame that warranties and insurance are often not worth the paper they are written on, but the Trading Standards route is one to consider too, fingers crossed for you m8 If it all goes pear shaped though, can I have first dibs on your wheels
