  1. Back on subject I have tyre sensors built in as standard on my Leon and have never had a peep out of them, I check my tyres regularly anyway so maybe that's why. It's not something I would add on unless I was running the car on a track, it's not really a chore to check the pressures, I got a little electronic gizmo off the net for about £5
  2. Don't even get me started on that one... I forgot to include that...
  3. Iv'e had 2 sets of dust caps pinched If I ever see anyone bent down near one of my wheels I will engage boot first and ask questions later
  4. Yeah cos in the rain the reflection makes them even brighter
  5. What is the deal with Fog Lights I even see old duffers in People Carriers driving round with their fog lights on Was following a Celica on Sunday night and had not had a good day anyway.... he had Fog Lights on front AND rear, 2 bright red lights burning my eyes So I pulled up quite close and stuck my full beams on for a couple of minutes Turned out he parked up right next to me and came over before I got out of the car... Asked me what my ****ing problem was and I politely pointed out that as it was a completely clear night and he had his fog lights on I was just taking precautions for the freezing fog that he obviously had predicted I'm not usually like that but as I say had a terrible day and anyway once I got out and my son did too (he is 6'5") the guy mumbled something and walked off... I'm glad the Zed doesn't have fog lights, no chance of it looking like a Chav mobile
  6. Don't see many of these either.... Bit further down the page
  7. Any idea what else I can cover with the material, I ordered a Square metre in case I stuffed up and I have only used a tiny bit I don't want to cover any of the plastic bits really as I am hoping to have them all flocked... and I have the RSW kit + a few extra bits already... maybe I will just make myself a matching hat / cap or something I did have a padded armrest in the centre which was really comfy but didn't look quite right
  8. The original ones are fantastic and if my Zed was Black, Red even yellow maybe then great but I think it just looks wrong on a Blue Zed Mine isn't going on the back of the car just on my strut brace as I broke the silver Z taking it off I will stick a pic in here but I know it will not compare in any way to the TK one....
  9. The genuine ones are only in red though aren't they? I wanted blue or CF.... likwidart are the only people that can offer the Tommy K in a variety of colours. the originals are more chunky and only in red. horses for courses etc. if you like the tommy k copies then have a seaqrch on here, lots of posts and photos on them. I have a CF style one arriving very soon Good price too compared to the originals
  10. Buying any shed will be a gamble as even the most reliable car will probably need major work at some point just depends if your lucky enough to get a good one How long is your commute to work? I have a not very economical Diesel but I still get 35mpg on very short trips that the Zed would only get half that Are there any car auctions near you? Take someone that knows a little bit about engines etc and grab a bargain
  11. Wow that's dedication, I think we should appoint you our test driver... Your next mission... I have been wondering what would happen if you put a different make of tyre on each corner of the car... Legal Note : I am in no way encouraging anyone to do anything stupid, that's my job!
  12. Wow those wheels are erm.... very shiny
  13. He better credit me with the idea Not that I'm in the slightest way a glory hunter I'm very shy and retiring I did put "we thought it would be......" But everyone knows it was your idea Dave As long as I win the spark plugs I don't care
  14. You lazy sod..... at least you could have asked me to do it for you, I would have taken your cash..... Anyway, its easy and should take about 1.5hrs. easy as pie IMO... An hour and a half ! I have much better things to do with my time, like eat a big juicy steak at the Wetherspoons nr Abbey while they fitted it , and as for getting my hands dirty
  15. I will supply a Mars Bar to the winner, very good condition only used once Picture will be on their way to you Jim, just got to dust off the scanner
  16. He better credit me with the idea Not that I'm in the slightest way a glory hunter I'm very shy and retiring
  17. Silver is by far the most common colour, and I know when I was looking the cheapest as it was so common, that's a fact not just my opinion. At the time I really struggled to find an Azure, as soon as I found one it was sold, obviously now the market is flooded as people are struggling to run or justify running a car like a Zed... You probably don't notice the Silver ones as they blend in so well, especially on a grey day

    Part Out

Best thing is to post in the thread and PM at the same time, all it means is the seller has to not jump the gun... not difficult if you are not breaking the car up (possibly) till the new year
  19. I would offer but I'm basically open to any type of bribery so think it would be a gamble The year's membership sounds like a winner Ebized good incentive to get the ball rolling
  20. I would keep it too, low mileage doesn't count for a huge amount and prices are low at the moment. Also its easily the most common and therefore cheapest colour. Good Luck whatever you decide
  21. I hope it's not the one of us in the pantomime horse.... next time I'm going at the front, it was hot as hell in there even with no clothes on!
  22. In some of my pics I actually have hair
