  1. I always resize any pics to 800x600 quicker that way
  2. They are very spacious.... maybe it only carried him for one journey
  3. Seeing as nobody is putting pics up, here I am in MY snow shoes
  4. Ah the smell of a burning clutch Still no snow here in London Rest assured the lightest dusting will bring the whole of the capitol to its knees though
  5. Leslie Nielson is Dead Surely you can't be serious? I am serious, and don't call me Shirley... R.I.P. a true old school slapstick comedy genius
  6. Someone has too much time on their hands...
  7. Exactly the same happened to me a while back when I bought one of those - utter crap. Suggest you contact Tim at Envy - he can supply a pack of 4 brushes for little money - now they are good https://www.envyvaleting.com/products_info.asp?id=235 I got a little sonus double ended one from Ultimate Finish. It is stiff one end and floppy the other Those Envy ones look good though
  8. Stephen, Sorry to hear about your terrible news. My own Dad is now in a home suffering from advanced Alzheimers and I am sorry to hear about the incidents at the Hospital, I had only good experiences myself when I was diagnosed with Cancer, so I know a little about how you and your Dad feels... Don't feel guilty for affording yourself luxuries that's in the past now just put all your efforts into spending time with your Dad, sounds like you already have started with that though. Dave
  9. I would go for grey.... but.... Sooooo many different shades of dull to choose from
  10. Not used the wipes.... I wonder if they would be considered good for a Secret Santa present
  11. Tis fair enough, but I'd always be afraid of hitting curbs with them on tbh, winter doesn't worry me any more or less than curbing them normally I know there's more ice and more risk, but given the number of numpties around, winter really is the least of my concerns. I'd end up never even wanting to put them back on in summer tbh. Maybe if some cheap tyres come up I'll bear it in mind, but if the zed is really that unusable in winter, I'd be better off just getting a 4x4 and leaving it parked up? Fair play It's not unusable just worse than most in bad weather... Yesterday in bad weather a convoy of Zeds being followed by a VXR220, it was the the Vauxhall that ended up on a grass verge
  12. I say it everytime someone slates them... I bought mine there and got a good deal and a good car Maybe I was just lucky
  13. Yeah yeah Darrens was just worse I am truly surprised they didn't pick mine... it's regularly been through car washes and the only Polish it has seen is at the local hand wash... his name is Piotr
  14. That's getting a bit personal Dave No if I said I had something he could Buff... THAT would have been personal!
  15. All I meant was one little slide into a curb and you will be If I still had the old wheels I would stick em back on if I had to use the car every day It is not a sign of weakness most people would agree I expect... little bit of black ice and a £800 wheel is shagged And no point saying you are a good driver as I am sure you are... but one silly old duffer spins out in front of you, he loses a couple of £5 hub caps and you knacker your beautiful alloys
  16. Only the bottom left picture wrong now... guess someone was in a rush to put the ad on
  17. Classic This is maybe why Eskimo's have Skidoos and not Zeds Haven't you got something inside you can buff?
  18. That glrnet's he has a blue & silver fetish don't ya know The Azure just left of Grahams in the pic was apparently the best turned out car on the day The guys from Meguiars have actually asked me to run the next seminar, but they didn't want to say anything in front of anyone else in case it caused embarrassment Darren if you want any tips just ask ok Och well just as well I didn't make it down would've put you all to shame Yeah yeah Just wait till we all get our Polishers
  19. I managed to get the boot open a bit easier I think it's most likely i'll end up waiting for the AA All of you telling me to be worried about how the zed is in the snow, not much of an issue is it if the tank is empty Have you put your old wheels back on
  20. Anything that wasn't a Zed... i.e. VXR220, 911, Range Rover or S2000 is exempt from any mention on this site as it is obviously not better than a Zed...
  21. They ONLY use and recommend using DA polishers which oscillate so do not generate enough heat to burn into paint etc... We told them that Nissan paint is notoriously thin so they started with some very tame swirlX then moved onto more aggressive stuff which I have to say worked fantastically. I would never go near my car with an angle grinder but after seeing a DA polisher in action I WANT ONE.... and so do many others.... apart from Wasso who bought one on the spot I think people just need to know their limits, if all you want to do is remove a few swirls or dark areas then get a DA polisher and have some fun, if you need to do anything more than that leave it to an expert The whole impression I got from Meguiars is that they are a genuine enthusiast supplier, they want to make all their products the best they can for guys who are not detailing gods but just like to show off their cars and make them look as good as possible... they also slightly took the **** out of all these expensive Carnuba Waxes Like they said can you REALLY tell the difference between a £20 wax and a £150 wax.... REALLY... 7x better.... HONESTLY... Reminded me of when HD first came out and people were flogging £150 HDMI cables... yes they are better than bog standard ones but the difference between a good £30 cable and a £150 one can't be registered with the human eye
