  1. same on mine ... ideally you need to be < 5 years old or have two lower limbs missing to sit in the back comfortably Thats my point, why have 4 seats when 2 are unusable...
  2. There will be new offers, not like they are going to start flying out of the showrooms...
  3. I hate ridiculous 'fix it' prices, they don't want to bother and you may as well get a new one with a warranty... have you tried Yellow Pages for local places that would have a look at it?
  4. Rising Power & AttakZ both nice cars both have 4 seats
  5. Just had a good look at both ads and I have to say I wouldn't be seen dead driving either of those I agree completely with the 1st ads owner about driving a car not polishing it to death but man is it ugly from the rear And the 2nd one where do I start, even worse rear with a ridiculous spoiler and why show it with illegal plates on? Not my cup of tea at all but obviously a lot of work gone into both and if that's floats your boat great
  6. Very nice Jim, but I want something I can still use everyday not a weekend plaything... The Cayman S 3.4 is comparable to the Zed in day to say running, and probably not too much more on maintenance with an Independent Garage... The old Porsche's are nice too but I don't want to get into the semi-classic car field I just want an upgrade on the Zed that I can use everyday if the mood takes me, similar or better performance / noise etc. Doesn't have to have 4 seats as it won't be my only car. Not bothered about badges and marques, if I like it then I don't give a stuff what anyone else thinks At the end of the day if it happens it happens, if not I my Zed anyway
  7. I really hope the country doesn't go back to a strike culture with all the public services holding us to ransom for money we just haven't got. An example was the tube drivers wanting quadruple time and a LD for working Boxing Day, so basically a weeks wages... same with my drivers moaning that they have to work Bank Holidays etc, they work in Food Retail what do they expect?
  8. I'm not a wheel whore..... unlike some Needs some interior CF though
  9. I know I shouldn't be looking just yet but
  10. No propblems down south Had a nice drive back from Dorking this afternoon and as the roads were dry I had some SP5 fun After having the Zed on 'Normal' for a few weeks it felt so much more alive
  11. Welcome Personally I would be wary of a 7 year old car with such low mileage but thats just me Cars are to be driven Hope you drive it more than the previous owner(s) have
  12. That is Azure Blue unless I am much mistaken... Maybe a touch overpriced but then its a main dealer... if you like it and its local and you can afford it and everything seems in order then go for it It seems to have all the options covered, GT Pack + Rays Azure is universally agreed to be the best and faster colour available so yet another reason not to hang about
  13. Don't worry Paul, you may not have a Milltek but you will always be a dipstick
  14. I don't think I would fit in an Exige +1 i had some issues with my mates vx220, had to crawl out on my hands and knees in a wet carpark 1 Never a good look imo
  15. I don't think I would fit in an Exige
  16. Cheers Ian, completely understand mate you have had a terrible end to the year Our club has been renamed the Brokeback, Manlove Dipstick Club Although we do have a female member but that is just to adhere to EU regulations
  17. Actually she is a prison officer and if she read that I would be in solitary for a week.... Again Is that a euphemism for bondage Now your talking colin...... My personal life is not for forum consumtion, oh hang on a minute Nice little meet this afternoon, not so much a Zed meet more a mates who happen to have a Zed meet Paul, you need to ditch the elephant tuba and join the club so you don't feel like an outsider
  18. Ah but there is different kind of contract that starts in March.....
  19. Speak to Sarah (Chillired) a Buddy Club may not be that far out of your budget If you like the look of the K1 you will love the look of the Buddy Club And sound wise it is a lot less chavvy and does not have an ASBO like the K1 You get a fair amount of cabin drone as you do with the K1 but with pipework like that just under your seat you should expect that Here is a comparison.... absolutely no comparison at all really, size is EVERYTHING My commute was through the Dartford Tunnel and in 4 months I never did it without the window down
  20. I've already seen yours.... wasn't that impressed Glad you can make it tomorrow
  21. I'm assuming that the constant variable will be the price, probably around £35kish I would have thought. Naturally this will buy you different ages, mileages and specs for each car. At this price or above, I'd be going Cayman S, even if it'll be a couple of years old compared to a new 370z. If the budget is £30k or less then you could still get a nearly new 370z but the Caymans at this point become older and with higher mileage. At this price point or below I'd probably sway towards the 370z. I'd never spend any kind of money like that on a TT. Exactly, I didn't say I was thinking of buying a brand new car, price depends on mileage and age of course. I could probably stretch to a 911 if all goes well but it would have to be a fairly low spec one, probably non turbo As for deserting Paul, I will never leave mwah mwah mwah.... oh and see you tomorrow
  22. This is a guy I know on another forum who lives locally... TT RS currently @ 440bhp I am not remotely jealous.... although he like my 350z too
  23. I love the colour of your 370 Phil, saw it at Megs, I guess if I hadn't popped my Zed cherry with the 350 I would go for a 370... I'm with you on the TT but the thing is although it may be boring to throw round a track I don't intend to do that so it would be comfortable, drivable in pretty much all conditions with the 4wd, safe, economical... maybe not the most dazzling choice but maybe the most sensible If I do change I'm 90% sure it will be for a Porsche though maybe even a 911
  24. Given that I may just be in the market for an upgrade mid 2011... With no Nissan bias would you go for any or none of the following or suggest a suitable alternative... It would not be my only car but would get a fair bit of use, at least 12k+ a year. Nissan 370z Audi TT RS Porsche Cayman S And yes I have seen the 5th Gear test which gave me the idea. I know the natural progression from a 350z would be a 370z but I don't look at it as different enough to get my juices flowing... I am swaying towards the Porsche as owning one is another thing to tick off the to do list of the Male Manopause
