If you are not going to change the exhaust I would maybe go for a Pop Charger, it will loose you a tiny amount of performance but sounds fantastic I have heard the 'prob not going to do much' thing so many times on here... isn't that right Graham

I was tempted, I have a lot of CF on the interior but decided that is where it will stay, not going to put any exterior bits on. Trouble is where do you stop? If you put the Mirror covers and pillar covers then the door handles will look odd...

Sounds good to me I just had an upRev last Friday, had the car a year and done all the bits I wanted to. My only advice would be don't rush to get the upRev done straight away, get the car how you want it first, intake & exhaust and then get it done Personally I wouldn't get it done straight away as you will maybe not appreciate it It's well worth getting done though, car feels so different Hope to see you at our next meet up

Thought I would post this in case someone else has had the problem... Anyone know of the positions of the sensors, maybe just something has come loose as the problem is only intermittent... ABS, TC & Slip light all come on and when Mark @ Abbey ran the code it was C1142, he hasn't seen it before and googling has only shown up a couple of links all a bit vague...

That's not bad, have you looked at a Scorpion? You might want to wait and get a complete system with a Y Pipe too as that gives the best results overall Personally from what I have seen / heard Japspeed stuff is the bottom end of the market and a Zed deserves a bit better

lol no one is cool with the kids here unlike CS . 25mpg is about right. I get about 29mpg but at drive at night at 50mph on the duel carrige way but round town and a little bit of 50mph mixed in 25mpg sounds right. Without starting another war IMO its worth it to fill up with 99ron as you will get noticebly better mpg. How you going to drive it as in id imagine its your daily but on motorway, round town or both? Who were you on CS? I'd use it as a daily. So 20 mile commute each day. Done fully on B roads. My M3 used to average 26mpg on that route so i hope the Z will do roughly the same. Should be about the same, depends on how much other traffic there is on the B Roads My commute is 18 miles each way and I average about that, but mine is all dual carriageway and motorway but it does include the Dartford Tunnel

Sorry for some to drag this thread back up.... But a conversation at work last night reminded me of it... One of the guys Dad's has an almost new XF, which to be fair he loves and has not had a problem with... until my friend updated the firmware on his iPod, got in the car, started it up put light on etc and while it was idling plugged his iPod in... and... the whole car died Apparently the AA were called and something was reset and all is good but what a brown trouser moment in your Dad's expensive new pride and joy
