  1. Can't see why you would want to enable this... unless you want to watch a music video while you plough into a bus stop...
  2. The guy at works dad has an older model, 320? So maybe thats why it is having a cambelt change
  3. What stayed there 2 days, the car or the accident
  4. Aircon runs all year round Dave - but I only get wet mats after heavy rain etc Have you lubricated all the seals round the doors, always worthwhile in the cold you only need a very small leak to make a big puddle in this weather, could be worse you could be in Australia and watching the Zed float away
  5. It is mad that you can pay 10x more for a supercar than a Honda Jazz and it is nowhere near as reliable...
  6. Seen a few posts saying it is the air conditioning as that it where it is situated I believe... have you had the Air Con running during the winter?
  7. Yeah how soes 5 mpg better in the S2K mean it is almost half the cost to run than the Zed Doesn't make sense, but if I misses something then im sorry
  8. Im fairly certain that both the 4.3 and 4.7 V8's in these are chain driven, so I reckon someone's having his pants down if they have advised cambelt change. Only going on what he told me, you know how some people like to exaggerate He has come into work in his Dads car so I know that he does actually own it, any other information can be taken as read
  9. A friend at works Dad has one of these, he has brought it into work a couple of times... Asked him about running costs and he said round town it does 10-12mpg, maybe low 20's on a long run Yearly standard service is £1,000 - £1,2000 and the 2 yearly big service is over £3k, this year his Dads need cambelt and few other bits done and the estimate is around £4,500. His has the 20" wheels which look but the tyres are around £450 from what he said... The car has been back to the dealer about a dozen times in 2 years, various different things, electrical engine management etc... I am sure you can save on these costs by servicing yourself or buying cheaper consumables but would you want to? The car sounds absolutely fantastic
  10. Me too but one wont harm One KK = 2/3 ltrs of water after
  11. you want me to eat one and describe it for you? Sir... I have 2 fingers for you
  12. A friend of mine had a DVD done of his wedding and paid somewhere like what you mentioned. He asked about extra copies for Family etc and was told each extra DVD would be £100! The photographer also said that the DVD's were not able to be copied so he would have to buy them. He gave me the original and next day he had 10 copies This woman obviously feels that her 'art' is worth the price and if she has the business then she can pick and choose I guess. Move on, find someone else and don't let it spoil the day. All this nonesense is why I have told the missus we will be getting Married in Las Vegas by Elvis
  13. I am Diabetic and I now hate you with a passion
  14. Yeah I would not have been happy if I lived round the front and they showed me that video Yeah but if someone had knocked on your door you would have said "Dont waste my time i am on some 350z forum" I probably would have been watching it on uTube laughing.... then slowly realised it was my car !
  15. I know Darren was thinking of the first Goodwood Breakfast meet after the December one got cancelled. But I believe the first 2011 Goodwood meet is on the first Sunday in March, so we definitely need something before then - perhaps at The Owl as that seems pretty central for most Or suggestions? The Owl is good for me... mmmmm Scampi
  16. Yeah I would not have been happy if I lived round the front and they showed me that video
  17. I had a buzzing that got gradually worse but mine was only at certain revs... meant a new clutch and flywheel... You may get away with a gearbox oil change and some molyslip though
  18. Gold + Black Sapphire + Diamonds May have to do a D.I.Y. service Ricey, I think buying 'The Rock' may have actually been cheaper... and no disrespect but taking D.I.Y. advice from you would be like asking the McCann's for advice on babysitting
  19. Good luck trying to get the Insurance companies to pay out on an 'Act of God'
  20. I know Abbey only top quality stuff as I have been there a fair bit and had my last service done there... To be honest I just wanted to look like I knew a little bit more about things than I do, but I guess I am just deluding myself Not sure about spark plugs Alex, hopefully they were changed at the 60k mark so should ok for a while yet... maybe I will treat the old girl at 100k
  21. Not sure of the exact size, a couple were missing when I removed mine so I just tried a few different ones I had knocking around, as long as they are no more than about an inch long they won't do any damage to anything
  22. I am due a 10 years or 90,000 miles P2 service (plus brake fluid change and airbag system inspection as extra items at additional cost) and booked in @ Abbey early next month. Already spoken to Mark and as I had Brake lines and new Brake fluid less than 6 months ago this should not need doing. I have always just taken a car to a garage and let them get on with it, but I am seeing some good deals on the Forum from the likes of Opie Oils and wondering if I could save a few £ getting my own consumables... I know there are loads of threads on this and everyone has their own preferences but please let me know what I should go for and why please as I am a complete noob
