  1. You and about 3 million other White Van Men
  2. I think he is a stalker, I have seen him at a few of the meets I have been too Nice couple of Red Zed's there, I however would NEVER go Red
  3. Good luck fella, you seem a fairly laid back kind of guy so just go with the flow. Make sure you are clued up (probably doesn't apply if it's the same company) and try (but not too hard) to tell them what they want to hear. My company were interviewing for graduates on Monday and one guy never smiled once... doubt he will get past the initial interview
  4. Easily done in the Zed, one of the (few) advantages of living in London, don't need to worry about 30mph limits, lucky to get over 20mph
  5. If you broke the law and got caught then not much you can argue about it really. If somone stole your tv would you be happy if they didnt get punished? sorry to sound harsh but its the way it goes Exactly, and these days if you drive, have a phone and you don't have bluetooth then you deserve the 3 points for being so daft! And I don't think it's a joke giving people points and then charging them more for their insurance as they are more likely to have or cause an accident...
  6. Well I love a bargain and also doing things the easy way so my tub arrived yesterday Lovely Jubly
  7. I had to have that bracket taken off when I got my old Buddy Club fitted, look at it as weight saving and performance enhancing...
  8. I am not sure about SD cars size, only used a 4GB one... I bought a 2nd hand 160 GB iPod classic with a knackered screen off eBay which hides in my cubby Before that I used a rewritable 9GB DVD Much cheaper than an SD card
  9. When I had mine I put it in eco mode once when the weather was bad... felt like I was towing a caravan If it gets to the stage that I can't afford to run the Zed I would rather get a cheaper to run car and drive it like I want to than drive the Zed carefully and sensibly
  10. I think you will find that unit is also already hacked
  11. The f900 comes with a mic I have mounted mine up on my a-pillar. The only thing that does not work is the answer call button on the steering wheel. I am not sure the bluetooth nissan thing in the cubby works with any aftermarket HU same with the birdview satnav too as far as I know... The f900 bluetooth comes through the speakers and works flawlessly. Where have you seen the unit, must be a bit cheaper than I paid for mine xmas 09 as there are new units out now... I think I paid £650 for mine but was extra for the ipod cable etc and all the looms and steering adapter etc... If you do get one I would suggest getting it fitted by a pro, I had a go at mine and it whined and wasn't good had to get someone to sort it out
  12. The Nissan handsfree doesn't work but I never had that to start with. The f900bt has built in bluetooth which works perfectly with the correct adapters etc as do all the other steering wheel controls. You do not have to change everything at all, I didn't to start with but when someone on here was selling some lovely speakers I couldn't resist. The Pioneer unit sounds a LOT better than the originial Bose, but you do need some boosters otherwise the volume level is pretty low Have a search in the I.C.E. section there is a great post by a guy called srobrien and also I think BulletMagnet has posted some info too as he has a f900bt. Whatever you do don't pay £150 for the 3.x update card from pioneer, I can talk you through doing it for free other members can confirm this It makes the unit so much quicker and easier to use than the old 2.x software Any questions just drop me a PM, happy to help
  13. Meant to say it sounds loads better that the stock Bose even with the standard speakers but to really get the best out of it you need to upgrade everything
  14. I have a f900bt with Hertz speakers and JLAudio amp fantastic HU and even better once you hack it and update it Here is a taster of what you can do with it - http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=33675&hilit=f900bt+update
  15. That interesting, the Sainsbury Super stuff is 97 Ron I believe so jot quite as bad as bog standard stuff, my mpg compares with what others get on here and I had good results at Abbey so it will do for me...
  16. 2% of ALL posts... That is impressive
  17. My commute is 18 miles each way and any other excuse for a drive Longest trip I have done was London to Newcastle
  18. I actually laughed out loud when Hammond said that I think they have just done the foreign road trip thing to death really... maybe they should have a race... oh no wait... maybe a challenge... oh hang on... erm... Seems like a few programmes have gone this way, I used to like the Gadget Show being a bit of a geek but that is all about the presenters now too... just lazy programme making thinking the stars of the show are the presenters.... they ain't it's the cars or the gadgets
  19. Cats are RWD, dogs are FWD.... therefore cats rule
  20. 12892 posts / 27 months is.... 477 a month 110 a week 15 a day every single day So maybe rethink that quote
  21. Mine is a daily drive 18,000 miles in 14 months
  22. But the last one might not have been as crap as the latest one.... Anyway in the same way that someone can stop watching Top gear if they think it is crap, they can stop posting on Top Gear is crap threads if they think that Top Gear is crap threads are crap
  23. Booooooo It's a forum for views and comments I do like it and I watch it and will keep on watching it, but it is going downhill rapidly and needs a change of presenters before it is too late
