  1. And Marmite When I had the courtesy car Mark's dad drove my Zed all the way to my house to meet me while at the same time I drove the Micra to Abbey to meet him
  2. Anything from £300 to £3000 and you get what you pay for A realistic amount for a decent full system including Y-Pipe is about £800. By decent I mean sound/look/performance I have had 4 different exhaust conbinations on my Zed
  3. How would that even work The camera is looking for records within a table, not for an sql statement to execute
  4. Is there a reason why your bonnet dampers are on different ways up
  5. Not saying anything else
  6. Is it the one with GTR on the number plate Ian, I borrowed that a while back... a GTR it ain't Not sure I am going to be able to catch up next weekend, I went to Brighton 2 weekends ago with the guys and met up with Graham & Will in Camberley last weekend so I would be pushing it to go out again this weekend...
  7. I think the correct term is 'bi', lesbo is a bit of a slur in the same vain as calling someone a homo... not good I think being bisexual is just being greedy or indecisive
  8. Was thinking what about the members who don't have Zeds? Are they allowed along but have to park round the corner?
  9. If you can afford it maybe go for an older rep mobile with high mileage and keep the Zed... Kind of a nice decision but a hard decision
  10. Thanks for the info chaps I have falken and toyo tyres on my Leon so I am not a snob I have been very impressed with the REO50's (A's on the front) grip is great in all conditions (even light snow) and have lasted way longer than I expected I suppose if cost was an issue I would go for the Falkens, makes perfect sense
  11. Just noticed you have a D1, I had one before the remap, you won't need it after so that's close to £100 off your upRev
  12. If you get it all done at the same time then you might get a good price, you can do the plenum spacer yourself if you know what your doing and have all the right tools etc as the bolts have to be quite precisely tightened up I would give RS a call too though, much much closer and will do an equally good job
  13. Meh! another fair weather Zedder Quite a few people travel a long way to go to Abbey, but RS are very well regarded too I am sure some closer to you can give you some good recommendations As said above it is a good idea to decide on what you are going to get done before you get the upRev, plenum spacer is pretty much a must do other than that just a good intake filter and maybe an exhaust/ypipe/cats if you really want to splash the cash It is hard to describe the smoothness and pull you get from the upRev, it really has to be experienced. The throttle is opened up to 100% which gives you more precise, smoother and instant control and the torque is stronger and available lower down so it just pulls and pulls... and then pulls a little bit more
  14. Yes I don't know all the 'ins and outs' but the REO50 is apparently a HUGE improvement on the REO40, and by the sounds of it lasts a lot longer too I was seriously looking at Falken 452's as they are a good price but I don't want to be dissapointed and wishing I had paid that little bit extra for the Bridgestones, especially if they don't last as long
  15. There was a thread for a group buy for the remap at RS which I am guessing you would go to, slightly closer than Abbey
  16. Craig, please don't ever mate near me
  17. Then the take over the world MWAH MWAH MWAHHHHHH!
  18. Yeah I know I was thinking the same, and it isn't the money. Been looking at various different sets but would probably stick with REO50A's as they have been superb and lasted very well. Why change what ain't a problem? The Mod Father (glrnet) has just got a full set of 452's which he says are fantastic but then he was previously running REO40's I have been hassling ZManAlex for a set of part worn rear REO50's but they get snapped up quick. Another option is just get a new set of rears I guess
  19. Thanks, There is a couple on there but some of these salvage blokes want crazy money. Dunno why, for a rareish car there seems to be a lot of heavily smashed zed's kicking about Lots of people that can't drive a (fairly) powerful RWD car I am guessing

  21. Most of my miles are my commute to and from work, I don't drive like a grandad but then I don't drive like I just stole the car either. I have also been on quite a few spirited drives with some guys on here. I drove around for most of the winter (Dec - Jan) in all weathers with no ABS and no TC due to a problem with a rear light switch so I guess that tells you something, good or bad depending on your viewpoint... I must admit I am surprised how well the tyres have lasted, are yours REO50's too?
  22. I am not a cheapskate in the least but I don't want to give money away for no reason... When I bought my car it had brand new REO50As on the front and almost new REO50s on the rear, that was @ 72k. Now 14 months later and on just over 90k just checked the fronts and they are pretty even @4-5mm and the rears are fairly even at 3-4mm. I am hopefully buying some part worn tyres off another member (REO50s) with about 5-6mm on the fronts and 4-5mm on the rears my logic is to fit the rears in a month or 2 and maybe the fronts a month or 2 after that then go for a complete new set sometime after the summer, does this all make sense? I have no problem with the current tyres apart from in the wet if I really try hard Thanks for any advice
