  1. That's enough about your collection of 70's Playboy magazines
  2. yes you will need adapters for the loom and for the steering wheel etc... Have a read here - http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=19787&hilit=f900bt
  3. As above you have a few option. Keep the Bose and get a Nurrish satnav, not used one but they look very good. Get an aftermarket HU with satnav all singing and dancing. This is what I have and lots of others on here too, everything works i.e. steering controls and as it has it's own Bluetooth no worries there either. All depends what you want and how much you want to spend really, Nurrish nav I believe is £400ish and you could always replace the Bose separately too... A Pioneer like the one I have is around £700 and improves everything including sound quality, complete ipod control, parrot BT and still have a cubby for any other bits, I have had a speed controller and now maybe a dab radio...
  4. I love the lights, wish mine would hurry up and arrive!
  5. If he is a burgler he's holding his phone in a very effeminate way! If I saw him near my car I would call the Police ! Oh and very nice job
  6. It's when you tuck the bumper.... Sorry couldn't help that It's a mainly American thing, kind of like showing your boxers at the top of your jeans...
  7. Don't waste time with Secateurs...
  8. + loads My gear change was terrible and I even had a nasty buzzing noise at certain revs in 5th but a gearbox oil change and some molyslip from Alex and it is smooooooth Except when it is cold
  9. I didn't fit them Neil I passed them onto Graham and I don't think he has fitted them yet...
  10. Nice job.... rubbish pictures though Did you sort the fuse out for the fog light
  11. Darren is a great guy and his car is fantastic but I didn't pay much more than 10k for mine 14 months ago, not a sellers Market at the moment, but if buying another Zed then does it really matter as long as you get that for a good price?
  12. After reading this I bought a 2nd had 6 piece kit of eBay for £15 and I have to say it has made a difference, much smoother idle
  13. Nice one so will it be in the order if the original list, I will be on the 2nd batch (no6) unless someone drops out... Is the trader thing all sorted?
  14. I am hoping that my work will make the 2012 Calendar Anyway without question they will look very very nice on a black Zed if you like that sort of thing
  15. here is my effort, I have to say I am not really an expert though... I am sure someone slightly more technical will be along shortly
  16. This thread has got my attention... but then I am a hedgerowsexual
  17. Sorry to hear that Pete, but if a company have poor customer service it puts you right off doesn't it. Don't look at it as an opportunity missed but more as a potential bullet dodged
  18. I had a problem with ABS light constantly on, for me it was just a switch in the rear lights that was confusing the ECU Pressure Sensor C1142. Shame you would have to go all the way back to Germany to punch the guy on the nose! Hope you get it sorted real soon, if you can't get to a code reader then you can get them manually it is not too hard if you have a phone with a stopwatch http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=119&t=42284 Then you can hopefully try to find out where the problem is
  19. I really wouldn't worry about a 2/3 year old Zed falling apart even if it has been kept outside. Most problems are with internal parts i.e. gearbox... Of course you can get exceptions but Zeds are pretty bullet proof. Mine is a 2004 that has done 91k sits outside as I have no garage and is running beautifully
  20. I work at lakeside so I get to hear my V6 through the tunnel
