  1. What model of the steering wheel adapter did you buy... it should be the ICT 29-020 - Sony/Pioneer 2009 head-unit lead I had the wrong one initially and the track selection did the same thing, just backwards not forwards
  2. Don't know if I am the Dave that Ian means but mines been fitted for well over a year. Basically you use the existing cage that you take off the Bose. Some people attach the cage to the centre section of the dash but I screwed mine into the actual car if you know what I mean. I.E. I can remove the centre section of dash without touching the F900BT. I have had all the dash and HU out today to fit a Pure Highway DAB if I had know I would have taken you some pics Thats the Bose how it comes out, if you look at the bracket on the Bose you can take this off and screw it onto the sides of the F900BT and then mount it using the 4 screw holes that you can see in the pic... does that make sense? It makes it far easier to fit everything in behind the unit if you do it this way, otherwise you would have to ram it all in and then hope for the best
  3. OMG!! Pete Wow off road Zed
  4. I didn't want to mention that, he may have some Jedi Mind Tricks.... "This is not the forum you are looking for...."
  5. Hope you dont pay their prices though! Price match everything otherwise RS is rather expensive. I can't be arsed to worry about a few quid here and there, I always get good deals at Richer Sounds. They must get so many idiots in there when they talk to someone that has done some homework it must be a relief... Anyway when I say everything for the last 10 years that is 2 systems, if you buy the right thing then it will do you proud for a long time Only reason for change was for looks, I wanted tall speakers to match my Oak flooring
  6. If you had hurried up and ordered them they might not have gone bust..... yet
  7. I'm sitting in a pub on my iPhone but Graham just txt me and can't get on here on his iPhone or firefox... I told him he probably got banned I've told him to clear his cookies but he is still not able to get on
  8. Oh I quite often just slow down too It is strange though as when I am on my way home nothing much keeps up
  9. Cheers guys and I spotted the 2 screws at the front once I took the centre console off Ian Just took my Nardi cover off and then managed to get what I wanted done without messing about with the handbrake My problem was that I wanted digital radio but my Pioneer HU only had an Aux in on the front as the rear was taken up by my iPod... I didn't want a cable hanging out the front of the HU so I managed to find a 3.5mm minjack to a female iPod connector (not easy to find) and now I have a Pure Highway in my cubby and iPod still in the armrest but now with the option of iPod or digital radio I did try the easy option with the FM transmitter but it sounded like someone farting in a bath
  10. I have got almost every bit of kit in the last 10 years from Richer Sounds... I have a Tannoy Sub, Gale Centre & Gale Rears and a Cambridge Audio Amp
  11. Cheers Ian, yeah I guessed the handbrake wouldn't fit through the hole
  12. I have TDL Studio 10's, you have very good taste Sir
  13. Been looking for a while but can't find this Lots of guides to remove the centre console and rear speakers but not the centre tunnel in the middle I want to remove the centre tunnel so I can get to my Armrest Cubby, is it just a case of removing the screw under the ashtray and the 2 screws on each side of the tunnel behind the seat? Cheers Dave
  14. As Chris said you must drive with your arse on fire Fair play if there are no speed cams etc near you but I need my License for work Don't know about anyone else but If I see someone skidding around or making the wheels spin on the roads I don't think wow... I think knob Not calling anyone on here a knob Just my opinion and I am pretty sure 90% of the driving public Maybe I am just getting old but everyday on my commute someone will be right up my chuff doing 80ish and then if I pull over they then fly past and have to slam their brakes on as the join the inevitable queue in front of me that I was keeping a decent distance behind
  15. Personally I would like to see enormous rises on taxes for tobacco and alcohol, both are luxuries after all... I don't smoke or drink before you ask What's funny about 26mpg? I drove to Brighton with the missus Friday afternoon, thought I would see if the upRev had improved anything so reset the trip computer... SE London to Brighton including Friday afternoon traffic in Brighton averaged 32.6 mpg according to the gauge. Didn't hang around either as we left at 1pm, went to the Marina for a drink, then parked on the front and walked up to the markets and shops on North Street before they closed.
  16. It has been very overcast and dull lately so maybe all the GreyMetal and Universal Grey cars have got lost
  17. It's the sweaty socks I shall take my cowboy hat elsewhere...
  18. I did wonder when Craig said to bring my construction workers outfit.... should really have put 2 and 2 together but hey you live and learn from any experiences, good or bad...
  19. I have to say I do sometimes get the urge to do something similiar when I drive through some of the Guardian Reading, Tofu munching areas of London with all the cyclists....
  20. You missed the 30 minutes sucking air through teeth and tutting....
  21. Glad you got the drop links sorted Will , for some Ferrodo DS2500 pads, a full set front and back are around the price that Nissan quoted for the OEM front ones and they are MUCH better £300 labour to supply & fit 2 pads is way too much IMO just go to a decent Independant garage
  22. Absolutely nothing to loose by changing the gearbox fluid and by adding molyslip as Dave has advised. he's learning slowly. Best to stick with genuine fluids as aftermarket stuff has not worked for some members so they have had to pay twice. I have the proper stuff in stock and good to go same next day. Drop me a PM if I can help you further mate. Alex. I may be learning very slowly but I only have to be told once
  23. No it is just all the grey owner are too ashamed to post on their thread
