  1. Very nice Shame I had to work tonight or I could have tagged along
  2. Thanks everyone.... This may have given me the push to get the rest of the exterior tip top as the new paint looks so good in the sun, really sparkles... I will have to get the rest of the car done and wheels refurbed...
  3. Ah that wonderful view from your workshop.... the rolling fields, the blue sky.... oh and the air thick with pollen Have you tried one of these?
  4. Picked it up this afternoon Very good job done IMO they have sprayed the whole drivers side of the car and blended it into both bumpers, looks superb, actually shows up the old paintwork a little They have refurbed the curbed Ray but when they went to balance it they found it was slightly buckled, ok to drive but they have ordered me a brand new Ray which will be here in about 10 days.... I have been wondering if I should get new Bridgstones all round or Falcons, well I have had my mind made up as they have fitted a brand new front trye too, RE050A to match what came off So nice to have my baby back
  5. Totally agree, unless you are investing in a Porsche, Aston or Ferrari then why only drive it at weekends? Best thing about the Zed is that it can be used as an everyday car without attracting stupid amounts of attention, after over 20k in just over 18 months I know what I am talking about Like i have said many times before it all depends on your individual circumstances. Everyone as different requirements from their vehicles. I work at a @*!# hole and for that reason only i dont use the zed for work and neither would you if you saw where i worked. A very fair point and that's why I posted the bit that you didn't quote
  6. As usual more about personalities than cars... Is it just me or do they all look fecking old on HD, some new blood needed quickly...
  7. Nice, I can image it maybe won't feel as fast as the R32 but it certainly looks a whole lot better
  8. Just being honest I know I 'should' love it but it's looks do not inspire me nor the fact I would have to fork out £2k+ just to make it sound like a sports car
  9. SACRELAGE Yes your spelling is terrible
  10. I'm a definite possible never been North of Newcastle before do I need to buy a tartan skirt and start drinking Irnbru ?
  11. Sorry I just think it is different enough from the 350z and I prefer the looks of the 350 over the 370... I think it is the ultimate as I obviously 'should' like it but I really really don't...
  12. A car from the future!!! And NO seats
  13. Totally agree, unless you are investing in a Porsche, Aston or Ferrari then why only drive it at weekends? Best thing about the Zed is that it can be used as an everyday car without attracting stupid amounts of attention, after over 20k in just over 18 months I know what I am talking about That said the Zed is also an 'everyman' car so I appreciate there are a lot of owners who maybe couldn't afford to run it as an everyday car. I had the choice of stretching myself to a higher Marque but then couldn't have run it everyday and still afford to service it and keep it in tip top condition, so I bought an old(ish) Zed with high mileage and have enjoyed every single mile in it !!!!!
  14. Not necessarily as the buyer could have pulled it...
  15. Unless you can find someone that wants the car as it is and will pay a premium for how you have cared for it then I would sell the bits separately. Even after all the care and attention is only worth what someone is going to pay for it, good luck with the same if you decide to go that way. Please don't take it the wrong way but have you really had that much enjoyment from the car? It certainly looked stunning in the flesh in Wales that's for sure
  16. Dont be too downbeat, the windows could be fuses or relays and even if both motors are knackered you can pick up both for £250ish Battery problems are common too and a new one is £80ish... Considering what the worst could have been you are fairly lucky...
  17. A fair bit of my stuff has been 3 for 2 at halfrauds
  18. Take the door card off and have a poke around, there are some good guides on here... Could be the motor as they are known to fail again have a search
  19. I guess some people just recognise taste and class...
  20. Well done for finally joining the Milltek + Berks club Give it a few months then get a Pop Charger too
  21. Canabalism FTW Eat the unemployed Eat the prisoners Eat the old (might be tough so in a stew) Problems solved!
  22. Milltek sounds like it would be perfect for you but best part of £800... i would say save up as if you get something your not sure of you will regret it and it will cost you more in the long run... also dont take vid clips for granted come along to a meet and hear them in the flesh. Have yoi considered a pop charger as a cheap alternative while you save up?
