  6. I did think that when they started talking about it, didn't they have a Jag AND an S2000 in that little ensemble in the field Shame none of the forum were in the Audience when they were looking for car club members
  7. I thought it was good looking and doesn't look as stupid as driving round town in a 'proper' range rover that has never even touched a blade of grass let alone gone 'off road' At least tonights episode was mainly about cars If I had to rate it I would say, it was a 'Final Cut' not a classic but all the ingredients there if someone had bothered to mix them up properly
  8. That's my old Buddy Club in Doris's vids I loved it, unfortunately like a $10 whore she was never quite as refined as I wanted her to be sometimes, but boy could she blow.....
  9. The anticipation is there.... not long now.... probably be moaning to myself and listening to Dark Side Of the Moon in half hour !!!!!
  10. It's like the last few Pink Floyd albums..... you just pray there will be a little bit of the old magic there, just a teeny tiny bit will do because it is so good.... but ultimately you go straight to the back catalogue (or Dave) and get a fix of the old magic
  11. Frank is indeed a legend! I've seen him live 7 times now, and he just gets better each time. England Keep My Bones is a great album (easily better than Poetry of the Deed). I quite agree - seen him a fair few times now too including a really special gig at Union Chapel in London last year. Very unsual venue but awesome stuff! The guy just seems 100% genuine and clearly loves and is passionate about his music Just been listening to England Keep My Bones this afternoon and it's quality stuff after the slight disappointment of POTD I love this thread!!!! I just rushed out and bought England Keep My Bones Great stuff Just listening to Peggy sang the blues I get goosepimples everytime I hear English Curse. Very powerful vocal.... I still believe is my favourite so far.... it's a corker

  15. Been working away so sorry for the delay, but if anyone is interested this is the finished result, not a great pic but you can see compared to the pic from the Grasshopper meet a while back they did the whole side as the petrol cap is no longer a different shade of blue
  16. Last Live gig was David Byrne at the Royal Festival Hall Last albums I bought (cough) were the latest batch of Remastered - Queen / Rolling Stones and they sound superb
  17. Graham, have your heard of Rory Gallagher? And NO he isn't Noel & Liam's brother He was a superb guitarist, right up there with the likes of Page / Clapton / Gilmour / Townsend etc etc in my humble opinion....
  18. like anyone these days has a Tape Just do the ipod hack, much better sound. If you dont want to undertake yourself just send a PM to Husky I remember when the 6 CD Changer went in my mazda (yes it was a Bose!) I went to a boot fair and got the 1st Stone Roses album, What's the story by Oasis and dire straits brothers in arms, all on cassette and for the princely sum of 50p.... for all 3 The iPod hack is apparently very good and not too difficult if you are ok with electrics and soldering
