  1. I would personally steer clear of solid wrap, the flyeye stuff is quite good i got some for my black Leon
  2. I get this when i visit my folks / sister / nephew in Colchester, all out in the sticks... As i dont know the roads and cant see whats coming i drive pretty conservatively, if i get a local in a range rover up my chuff i find it automatically makes my right foot very very light
  3. Even better, you have a yearly test which determines how much insurance you actually pay... I LOVE that idea!! I surprised myself tbh, but makes perfect sense, good drivers pay less, people who cant be bothered or dont care pay more.
  4. on a serious note, i agree with this + 2 Although i would explore all avenues first, i.e. Selling kids, missus on the game, sell a kidney etc...

  6. As i work nights and travel a lot at very unsociable hours i often think hey there is nobody about why not put my foot down, but then im sure the cyclist / pedestrian that is also coming home at 5am will probably be just as surprised to see me as i am to see them...
  7. At least there seems to be plenty of witnesses to the accident
  8. My missus is a prison officer at Wandsworth and has been for many years. She says there are very few 'proper' criminals in prison anymore, almost everything is drugs related in one way or another, and while an addict is in prison they have to have their habit sustained, all at the tax payers expense.
  9. Not surprised, last time he visited he said he couldn't sit down for a week.... i thought it was only the taker that was gay Just kidding, I'm not homophobic... ive got a house You sure it's not a Cottage?
  10. Apparently the death could be 'Mafia' related, a horses head was found at the scene....

  12. It would still be more manly than your car Dave! Grrrrrrrrrrrr and Rawr! Yeah but driven by the Scottish Dale Winton its more prrrrrrrr than grrrrrrrr
  13. + 1 20mpg round town, 24-25mpg average, £500+ for tyres, servicing brake pads/discs etc etc etc... if £6k is pushing it to buy one then I would seriously suggest you think again, not a cheap car to run im afraid

    Does Chesterfield know
  15. And Beyonce MUST have botox on her arse, does that count?
  16. Sorry but Cheryl Cole must be on something if she still thinks Ashley respects her and can keep in his trousers for more than 5 minutes...
  17. Yeah I meant to say that they over-read a fair bit, you can usually tell by looking at the satnav, oh and as for your second paragraph I am pretty sure that could be classed as aiding and abbetting
  18. The 10% has always been a bit of a myth, but with car speedo's nowadays and satnavs it really isn't an excuse is it... We all do it but when you get caught don't moan Picked up my new alloy in SE London on friday and coming back along the A20 (dual carriageway) I had a Subaru right up my tailpipe in a 50mph zone just as it goes down to 40mph zone (I was doing maybe 52 and slowing down...) first opportunity he undertook me in a cacophony of noise right on a bend that I knew from memory the old bill like to sit in and catch some speeders. Much to my delight, and the subaru owners bad luck there stood mr plod with speed gun in hand (and probably a hard-on) and pulled the car over for a chat and a ticket... As I went past I couldn't help making a little yawn gesture as I trundled along at 38mph The thing I did the commute for years along that stretch and I know from experience that the 50mph > 40mph change is because quite often the traffic builds up just around the bend and you can have a fairly hairy moment even going 40mph and having to hit the brakes so not just opportunistic plods with nothing to do, they are often there and for a good reason Anyway enjoy your lesson Husky and don't forget to take teacher an apple
  19. Anybody else get this vision when they thought about Husky going back to school? It is actually a photoshop job but as you can see absolutely seamless
  20. After being a passenger in your Zed I would say go for it, but check first that they don't have the option to just take your license away there and then have you been a passenger? can't remember, poor you anyhow It's ok I am getting professional help to deal with it...
  21. Classic Keep those Admins in line Colin

  23. One of their favourite quotes is - "The speed limit is a maximum, not a target" You just have to suck it up, say all the right things, nod now and again, pay the cash and then next time get your arse out of bed earlier and join the convoy from the Moreton
  24. Am I just wrong to think you could get a baby seat in there Just thinking of all those poor sods whose threads start with "Starting a family so the Zed has to go" Surely an option worth considering
  25. The whole point of this thread is not IF mixing tyres is a problem, but honestly why would you? Tyres are the only thing connected to the road so why compromise? I can understand buying cheaper brands i.e. Falken but why take a chance on saving a few £ by mixing brands / types
