  1. I need 1 of those for an 07 HR Roadster... how much are they from Nissan? *Hides behind sofa* I got a Coupe one from Zmanalex for £140 I think.... It is the Genuine Nissan one, came with locks etc there is a thread somewhere
  2. Right I am contemplating fitting mine tomorrow if the weather is good and I am feeling better.... Sounds simple enough and I am well versed in removing all the necessary trim... So am I right in saying the following - My camera has a small red and a small black wire, the black one is the earth and connect to a bolt as in the pics on the first page. The red is sliced to the solid green wire from the reverse light and also I need to run a wire all the way from the HU )purple connection on the Pioneer) to the same connection of the green wire. Then connect up the video input, make sure it is turned on in the HU and hey presto.... Have I missed anything? What sort of wire do I need to run from the HU to the wire at the reverse light?
  3. Fantastic set up I personally would like a DD unit as a front end though, but thats just personal taste Bose do make some good systems, I hear the one in the RX8 is particularly good (if someone knows better I stand corrected) but the Bose in my old Mazda 6 was another rebadged bag of shite
  4. It is a styling thing and therefore very personal, I followed a memeber with a debadged Zed on a run once and I thought it looked Then I followed someone on a run with clear indicators and loved them... all a matter of personal taste I guess
  5. If you are on a budget then I would suggest you buy a double din without satnav and get a tomtom or garmin nav for when you need it. If you can't afford that then just get a good SatNav for £100 or so and make do with the bose until you can. A friend at work saw my Pioneer DD and was blown away, thought he would do it cheap and get one of these (type) of ebay, he asked me to load some software on it, it was SERIOUSLY rubbish, everything about it was cheap, buttons, mechanism, os, everything, he got a Pioneer and dumped it, lesson learnt!
  6. Haha good on you for posting that ! Possibly the worst (w)rapping since John Barnes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGDaU1utvZE&feature=fvst
  7. I don't have the driver side cos that's on the car. Bought them as a pair and thus have the passenger side spare. Just PM me your address and I'll send it out to you for say £10 + p&p? Thats a result Jim I do still have mine as Muddy gave me his along with the speakers I bought off him, but didn't want to split them up really.... rather keep them to put back at some point...
  8. I noticed a BIG difference when my RE050A's became close to the legal limit. They lasted me around 25k but the last month or so the car was definitely more 'lively' at the rear especially in the wet. All the tyres were still legal but I changed them all anyway rather than stagger it.
  9. Be extra careful earthing everything and sealing the wiring properly.... I had a really bad 'whine' on my system and it drove me nuts till I sorted it
  10. Oh no look out it the the Admins 'heavy' I love breaking things just to see how to fix them too, as usual i just couldn't help the sarcasm
  11. big engine and a warm bonnet; nice place to sit on a cold evening Enough about your dogging, this is a cat thread
  12. Really??? One or two members actally think there is too much and not enough negative stuff! But glad your happy with the service from Lee I have to agree as I have never known a forum like this, yes there are negative posts and always will be but there is a lot more love on this forum than most
  13. But didn't he break it in the first place
  14. Don't believe it Vik, i know his secret! He has an army of Smurfs in his garage that paint everything blue just for their Papa Smurf!!!
  15. Wenger is like an old faithful dog sat in the corner that you just need to take for one last long walk to the bottom field... We should have an ex-gooner up front by the weekend, and £100,000 of his wages every week paid by Man City
  16. I think most Gooners are BLUE at the moment
  17. As ever well put Ricey I fail to see that living in a brand new housing development that hasn't even finished being built yet can render uninsurable just because of the Post Code.
  18. Apparently there is usually a beardy bloke on his drive polishing his Jag every weekend too
  19. near me at IP5 between ipswich and woodbridge, i live within throwing distance of the major police headquarters; real low risk area Read up a bit Rich, I can SEE the Headquarters of the Kent Constabulary from my balcony, if your postcode is deemed 'dodgy' makes f*** all difference mate... Anyway there have to be SOME advantages to living in Ipswich
  20. I noticed! And yes, the Dartford area is pretty horrendous area for us for imports, modified and performance cars. So where should I move to
  21. Yep Jim / Vik, Apparently the whole of Dartford (DA) is a crime infested sewer full of car crime, which is why its all over the news.... That is why my current insurer has lowered our premiums when everyones is going up substantially, and that was taking into account my accident as blame has not been decided yet, so guilty until proven innocent... Not got a beef with Sky or Ollie, like he said if the underwriters say no then nowt you can do... Googlemaps must have been interesting Ollie, all i can see are fields where my place is
