Thats exactly what I did, ran the camera off 12v to my telly, works fine, try it in the car and nothing Im gonna try a portable DVD player I have in the car tomorrow see if it is the RCA input playing up, if it is I guess im knackered

I did originally but when i got nothing i took it all upstairs got a battery and tried it on the telly. Then when it worked sat in drivers seat with all the wiring and battery and got no input... What setting have you got yours set on, battery? Real pain car is in bits and im working tonight!

Hmmmmm Can you try another video source in your HU and see if HU displays it? Yeah thats my next option i guess, cant think of anything to check the RCA input though...

Ive used this too, bought a bit 4ltr bottle and put some in a little spray bottle. Im sure the purist detailers would sniff at it but if your pushed for time a quick wash and spray and to the untrained eye it looks like youve spent hours of effort

Nah the camera works fine hooked up to my telly, just nothing when i connect it up to the HU....

Yeah used the pale green wire. Just got a 12v battery from shop round the corner and the camera works fine on my tv, take it down to the car and it doesnt work on the f900bt ? I go into settings and switch reverse camera on and doesnt matter if i select battery or earth i get no picture Just checked the box and it says PAL, maybe i got a wrongly boxed one? I noticed yours had 2 quite thick black wires mine had a thin red & thin black one ?

Well I stripped out the boot ok, fitted the camera, ran the cables through the grommet, connected the red wire to the green wire on the passenger side cluster, the black wire to the bolt on the rear (as per slimjims pics) connected the video cable to the back of the pioneer, enabled rear view and nothing.... i get the screen with the warning at the top and a blank screen can't see what I could have wired up wrong, nothing much to mess up is there? Live to the green wire and negative earthed to the bolt, simple or so I though. On the pioneer there are only a couple of options, rear camera enabled yes/no and power earth/battery had it on yes & earth, but tried yes and battery too. Seemed like the camera came on even when I wasn't in reverse
