  1. I would have had to open the bonnet for my feet
  2. Can you not work out by how much petrol you are putting in what you mpg is?
  3. Autoglass replaced mine, although it had a crack rather than a chip.... I wouldn't condone an illegal act to claim on the insurance but accidents DO happen Mine was done by an HGV on the A2 cost me £70 off my insurance
  4. Oh my, if Graham sees that he will do a little sex wee
  5. Nothing industrial, front one will power up a navman satnav and the rear one will fire up the cubby motor as the switch is inbetween the heated seat switches I want some info on what panels / trim to remove, I have removed maybe 75% of the interior at one point or another but not those bits
  6. I have had a search and found loads of threads about people doing this but can't find a guide or at least a run through.... I need to run power from the front AND the rear cigarette lighter sockets so need some advice on what trim bits to remove and how and then how to actually wire it up please. I like a neat car so trailing wires wind me up and running my cubby off a 9V battery in my armrest is not really ok is it Cheers in advance
  7. I'm pretty sure I saw it on one of my many visits to Abbey, it certainly had HUGE dragster rear wheels like that one...
  8. Phew, thought it might have been your new purchase No he rejected it as it was clearly 'pinking'
  9. I had my REO50A's on the front for almost 25k and had no uneven wear at all
  10. I will add myself later, i get easily confused so spursmaddave = spursmaddave WarpedStorm = Will350z Didn't know you were Egyptian Chris.... Camel One UK
  11. Berks were a close 2nd to my LEDs and the Buddy Club was a close 2nd to my covered interior bits I will never forget the look on your face when you stamped on my loud pedal in Wales
  12. 1. My Huskyfied interior white LEDs & Dials 2. Currently my armrests and rear strut that i covered need some TLC
  13. Graham, hair is temporary, style is permanent I had mixed feelings about these, especially the rear as it looks van like, but is very similar to my Leon to be honest.... They have grown on me, and there are not that many cars that look perfect from every angle.... As for my Zed being a shed, what defines a shed? High mileage? Almost 100k Cheap? Can't imagine my Zed is worth too much, although priceless to me Something to drive come rain or shine? Yep that's my Zed So my Zed IS a Shed.... I feel a coming
  14. Calling it a shed was a slight p@@s take, it will be worth twice what the Zed is so technically the Zed will be my shed It will be my other halfs commuter and my commuter on her weeks off and will be a nice mile cruncher for weekends away etc.... Im not bothered about boot space really im guessing the read seat come down for trips to B&Q.... I love my Leon it is a true Hot Hatch even though its a soot chucker, but it just isn't comfortable on long drives, I could change all the suspension but it's a good excuse for a change
  15. I think if I don't go for the TDI GT 170 then I would opt for the 2L TFSI hopefully going to test drive a couple this weekend... I have seen some 09/10 plates around the £15k mark which seems pretty good to me 1.4 petrol or the 140bhp diesel would be the sensible option but I am rarely sensible at least I have crossed the 'R' off the list, like I did with the Cupra when I looked at Leons
  16. A budget of 14k is very healthy for a Zed, you could get a low mileage late model easily for that. Personally I would look for a good slighty earlier model for around the £10k mark and have a healthy budget for mods, Exhaust etc. There are some great examples for sale, a good friend of mine has a very well looked after one going for a song! http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=52802 As already mentioned you will love the 'grunt' it just makes you smile Zeds are deceptively fast because the engine is basically a big lazy lump add a nice exhaust & induction kit and you have a heavenly soundtrack too
  17. Thinking of chopping in my Leon for one of these.... pretty much the same 170bhp TDI so similar performance but definitely a step up in style and comfort I have already spoken to one member who has one of these for a while and loved it. If I didn't have the Zed I would get an 'R' but as this will be a London commuter I am wondering if I should forget the diesel and go for the 1.4 TSI... Test drive time I think, can't see me going for anything less than a 2l really though
  18. I do miss mine But i dont miss the fact that the vibration and noise NEVER go away.... If my Zed wasn't an everyday drive I would have kept it, my commutes through the Dartford tunnel were nearly enough to persuade me but not quite
  19. Thats a good price I doubt anyone could get it much cheaper.... Awesome exhaust but be prepared to get headaches if you go on long drives
  20. Why not just drive it into the Tardis?
  21. It is very loud despite what anyone tells you... Paul (Zugara) had a roadster and I think all the extra mechanism behind the driver muffled the sound a bit but I know Jim (Doogyrev) had his fitted on his Coupe for a very short time Depends what you want really, I had a very noisy exhaust (Buddy Club) for a few months and the sound was amazing but the drone and vibration did my head in...
  22. If you search Chris'I has fitted one, I believe you need a wiring kit from the US
  23. In a recent poll it was found out that 99% of scousers have had sex in the shower..... The other 1% have never been to prison
