  1. If You dont have a dremel you can use some wire cutters to trim it if they are heavy duty, as long as you make the slot big enough any rough edges will be hidden by the gaiter Any cordless drill will make a small hole to fix the cover on
  2. problem is I'll struggle to get on a flat bed to be honest. It's a no win situation with the Eibach's Yeah i saw yo thread on ramps Just thought I have a car cover you could buy it off me and cut the windows out sorted!
  3. Yep looks like a new Y pipe required, should be able to get one farly cheap 2nd hand or upgrade time
  4. When you can't see out of the window for white stuff start to panic I treat weather forecasts like horoscopes, it all makes sense and could easily happen, but most likely won't
  5. I can understand you wanting to protect the front Ian, do you have AA cover, maybe you could drive it half a mile down the road, render it undriveable* then get it taken home on a flatbed * see Bennett for details
  6. I am hopefully getting a JVC KW AVX840 soon http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/jvc-kwavx840.html
  7. It really isn't difficult, you just need the balls to cut the old one off Worse case is you have a naked one for a while if you cant get the MOMO to fit
  8. Just a lot of layabouts and hanger oners that make the genuine travellers look bad I guess... Bits that made me particularly laugh - Woman shouting about an ill woman that was laying on a matress on the ground, if she was that ill what is she doing on a matress on the floor ffs? Another woman complaining while she struggled to fit her flat screen TV into the back of her very new looking car... A girl screaming and crying at a caravan that was set on fire just by her 'house'..... by her NEIGHBOURS!!!!
  9. Also any excuse to use this picture -
  10. That reminds me of a few years back when I saw some cows frozen solid in the snow.... I sat by the side of the road and wept a little as it was so sad... I didn't notice a frail old lady walk up beside me. She whispered in my ear and said "put your faith in the lord and he will show us his power", so we both said a little prayer... When I looked up the cows were walking around good as new, I wiped away the tears and looked at the old lady, hang on I said.... don't I know you off the telly... "Yes" she said.... "I'm Thora Hird"
  11. Agreed, only one week last year that I couldn't drive my Zed to work as it was under a foot of snow But I got into work everyday in my Leon, unlike a lot of others I work with I actually drove past where some colleagues live and said they couldn't get in... but at least they were made to use holiday entitlement if they wanted paying...
  12. Anyone else see this last night, I know they have to show both sides but I couldn't wait till it got to the end when the eviction started Am I bad for enjoying seeing them crying and shouting 'its our home'.... erm no it's a piece of green belt that you parked your crappy caravan on and then wouldn't budge I am sure they will all get a rebate from the £1,000s they have paid in council tax over the years
  13. I'm just disappointed we didn't get it earlier, I would have driven down to Dale Farm and helped clear out the pikeys
  14. Not surprised owner caused a nasty accident having lost that support I shall pass on your kind words to Mary
  15. My shiny Zed reflected in a shiny tanker stuck in traffic on the M25
  16. I don't think waitrose are planning to sell them you snob! Waitrose will do it properly and sell you winter tyres. I seem to remember they the only ones out doing deliveries last year as they had winter tyres on and no-one else did A quality moment at work the other day... Management decided that they would hire a snow plough for the winter just in case so that we can keep our yard clear and the 300+ vehicles moving.... I thought it was too good to be true, they decided that only one person will be trained on it and he lives 60 miles away in Kent (depot is in Essex) and last year couldn't make it in because of the snow... Genius
  17. I don't think waitrose are planning to sell them you snob! Have you looked at the pictures, they look like they will fall apart after 5 miles.... Looks like they are £35 a set, I thought they were about twice that for a pair As for being a snob, I don't drive a shed so I wouldn't put them on either of my cars, if I had a crappy shed for the winter I might buy a set and chuck them in the boot
  18. If I was going to buy snow socks, which I am not, I wouldn't buy them from ASDA...
  19. I feel your pain But you chose to lower the car If it is a standard exhaust then hopefully the bump just broke it at the usual spot behind the back box and it can be welded up fairly cheaply
  20. As Bronzee said push for the 2nd set as a backup, if you have no luck the actual key is not too dear but getting it linked up to the car is pretty expensive Get some pics up when you have stopped driving round like a goon
  21. Great pics and results Ian the fact that the REALLY swirly BMW was black just makes the transformation even more stunning! Chris, bald is beautiful
  22. As standard they are not highly polished, I only had mine a few months and it looked good to me
  23. I doogy's rotty I fireworks! You would think in the current climate they would be in decline Maybe like dental care and eye care they come free with a gyro
