The navman i have basically is a tablet running windows ce i can boot it into ce via a memory card if i have the urge. It would be nice to run diagnostics etc on it but im not really that bothered. Just waiting for the trim bits from the US now and may change the HU at the weekend

Yes, that's the combo most owners upgrade to. Just be aware that there will be a slight increase in clutch chatter I have that exact combo too, Exedy & Fidanza... There is more chatter yes but it is more than worth it
