  1. When my drivers window motor started to run slow I looked at the guide for removing it and cleaning it I just gave it a little tap with a hammer and it was fine
  2. The Nismo is nice and sounds but you pay for the name, lots of cheaper options at what a 2nd hand Nismo would cost i.e. £800ish
  3. Worth a shot Whats the worst that can happen?
  4. Great film, bit like hi tec smurfs...
  5. If it works one way or intermittent it might just be chocked up with crap, i know the window motors suffer with this so maybe seat motors too? Never seen a thread about it though or how to find the motor & strip it down... I guess get the seat out and investigate PM one of the guys who have had bride seats, Ian maybe?
  6. Do what The dial background and colour change So I come back to be greeted by a gay chatroom Don't be scared Hassan, come on in I have had all my interior lights changed and dials also Won't be doing many miles this week as the old girl is at RT Performance getting her Xmas pressie early
  7. All tounge in cheek mate sorry I am an aquired taste, never personal I take the **** out of anyone and everyone given the chance As for outrunning a GTR....
  8. Bizarre but yesterday I pulled up at some lights behind a white GTR Well I think it was white it was a dirty girl
  9. If it has only done 30k in 8 years then I would check the service history very carefully, has it been serviced every 12 months regardless of mileage. Also expect it to be on its first clutch/flywheel & rotors etc so if you buy it and do a fair bit of mileage it could be expensive... not trying to put you off, enjoy it
  10. Totally agree on the condensation So it's Air Con on pretty much all the time for me as I said... Also agree on the poor MPG round London, I did a 30 mile trip to RT Performance today and look what I got Glad that isn't my daily commute, mainly as I would need 2 jobs to pay for it and would have to leave 2hrs early to get to work on time
  11. I think a lot more people went out to organised events which are better controlled and finish at a reasonable time I went to an event with a mate and his kids, 8 of us in total for £20 we couldn't have got much more than a box of sparklers for that at sainsburys....
  12. I get 16 Either your Zed is broken or you drive like a muppet
  13. Don't worry about things not heating up, a Zed gets hot pretty quickly
  14. A good point well made... Summer - Aircon for cooling down Winter - Aircon to see where the feck you are going
  15. Probably a slight difference but if you are worried about 1/2mpg here and there then a Zed isn't really the right choice...
  16. What can I say, it reminds me of that romantic day up above your garage.... You will always be Iron Man to me
  17. I very rarely have the aircon off and on a decent run I have had 34mpg Round town etc I get roughly the same as everyone else round here... between 23-26mpg
  18. So thats what the stain is on my drivers seat, must have been when you put them in....
  19. Thanks chaps.... I am very very chuffed with the results, particularly as I did it all myself The HU is a JVC KW-AVX840, I wanted a 7" screen to fill the double din, didn't need satnav and the JVC fitted the bill So far so good, although it has locked up a couple of times playing my iPod classic, but that may be because I am using the iPod cable from my pioneer.... The sub is a LOT bigger than I thought it would be, I knew I should have looked at the dimensions The sound quality is great, nice deep rich bass and surprisingly rounded considering its a flat sub... no doubt at all that a sub or pair of subs with a box would sound better but it would have taken some fabrication and would have cost a fair bit more than the £250 for the Pioneer, especially as it is active which saved on getting a separate amp. It was really easy to fit, just a permanent live from the battery and then a remote and an RCA to the HU, also it has a nice remote control which is now in my cubby, and NO Jim it has not been above about 40% I need to sit and get everything set up nicely, another good thing about the JVC is that you can tweak lots and lots of features of the output The CF is an RSW kit
  20. I'm playing a lot of Reckless Racing.... Yeeeeee Haaaaaa
  21. Translation - "whilst driving my 350z I happened across a White GTR number plate T5 J**. I proceeded to give chase to said motor vehicle in a 'fast and furious' type way but unfortunately I had neither the skill nor horse power required to keep up. I would like to make the point that my speed controller was set to eco mode but I doubt even on SP7 it would have made a difference."
  22. Been having the iPad vs 'other' tablet discussion with a friend, he just bought an iPad2 im looking as an asus epad. Fair enough he has an iPhone, Apple TV and an Air Book, but almost twice the price of the tablet im looking at? I only want it for surfing when the missus is watching Emmerdale, i use a laptop now but it melts my plums
  23. My I.C.E. as with many other areas of my car has seen some changes Back in the day, my Bose headunit lasted exactly 2 days before being ripped out and replaced with an all-in-one double din. I then picked up some lovely Hertz speakers from a member on her and paired them up with a JL amp which sounded great but the bass still went through the bose sub I have been thinking about building a sub box for the bose sub location or an under strut install but never got round to it. I recently changed my HU so i thought i would bite the bullet and get a sub, as always i like to be different so i got one of these - A Pioneer TS-WX77A It looked like it would fit in the space between the rear strut and seat, or so i thought... Fairly large.... Anyway it fits in the boot nicely and sounds fantastic ive only got it on about 40% and its LOUD
