  1. Jeez more homoerotic innuendo in one page of that thread than a night out with Julian Clary Wales won't be the same without Lord Beavis, I know you get some stick but we all love you really
  2. Great track, I think I need you to make me up a playlist
  3. Hello Ian no mates Have a great time mate, will be nice to do those roads without 48 other Zeds getting in the way
  4. Not difficult to understand, like the utube code it would allow easy linking to eBay items.... Simples Lexx you should have come to the joint meet, there were other 'non Zed' owners there I would have thought the admins administer the site and moderators moderate the site
  5. Colin let me hold it ! But not for long
  6. Yep I only ever found one.... luckily it was when I was 32
  7. My Nephew has apparently the most powerful Noble outside the US
  8. Thanks, how long would you say it would take to warm up so that I can go above 3k? It doesn't take long, I would say 5-10 mins in winter weather. But then if its that cold you wouldn't want to be booting it too much anyway The engines on a Zed are pretty reliable and robust you would have to be a total spanner to break one, it has happened though
  9. No worries at all fella, I have put some pics on this thread rather than confuse this one The pics are looking up under the passenger footwell, connected behind the existing cigarette lighter, just pull away the protective plastic and you will see the positive and negative wires Any questions just drop me a PM http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=55737&p=809285#p809285
  10. On another thread someone asked about where I put the button to turn the nav off or reset and how I hard wired it so I took a few pics this morning Button location - Hard wiring to existing cigarette lighter in passenger footwell, you don't need to remove any trim, although it might make it slightly easier if you do...
  11. I have thought about and nope can't think of a better reason
  12. Going on Sunday Never been to something like this before, to be honest I am a late petrolhead bloomer, only passed my test 5 years ago at 37 Really looking forward to it, hopefully I will meet Clarkson and tell him what a knob he is I think a lot of the show 'creations' will be there so expect some pics if they are I know a lot on here are not fans of the show but for me I just keep hoping it will be as good as it used to be, sometimes it is, mostly it isn't
  13. Good luck with the search, is your user name from the Lynyrd Skynyrd song or am I just showing my age
  14. Nah the cars are alright its just the drivers
  15. I test drove a Cayman earlier this year, although I wasn't blown away with the performance compared to the Zed (it was the bigger engine but not the new 's') it was a lovely driver focused car and felt much more nimble than the Zed....
  16. Sad times Jerry, there are many things in life more important than a car I am struggling to think of too many personally though Hope you will be hanging round here with the rest of the Zedless, they might even make you a Mod now you don't drive one anymore
  17. Yeah it does, again nothing too difficult really Im going to a meet tomorrow so will be giving the car a once over, I will take a couple of pics of the button and the cigarette lighter adapter if you like
  18. Its ok There was a little speaker connected to the board, i just cut the speaker off and wired up a bigger one For hard wiring you can get a cigarette lighter socket and wire it behind the existing one as an extra then plug what you want into it
  19. Maplins are doing the 2tb seagate one for £129.99 or a budget brand 2tb for £79.99
  20. I could have worked the sond into my HU but to be honest I dont like the automuting my music all the time So i fitted a small speaker near the heater control unit, its plenty loud enough. I would suggest wiring the sound to the HU fm links are not great quality wise.... If you just want a nav then go for it, hardest bit is wiring the buttons to be honest. As for needing wifi or gps i was under the same illusion and cookbot even told me as much, I couldnt find an android tablet that had built in gps that didnt require a 3g connection The screens on those cheap gps ebay jobs are pretty pants, the screen on the navman is actually better than the one on my £400 hu....
  21. Not quite a full 7" screen but other than that yeah does everything And not sold yet...
