  1. Yeah i'm not a classic car lover but I preferred the older cars to some of the new ones, the black lambo with the yellow leather was gorgeous though
  2. I have to say he is one of the nicest blokes I have met, and a wicked sense of humour too Lot of people gonna miss him when he moves abroad

  5. Went to the show on Sunday with my mate who is in a wheelchair and we got treated like VIP's. We only had silver (cheapest) tickets but for the first show we were on a raised platform in front of the seating area and for the second show we were just behind the concrete crash barriers My photographic skills are on a par with my photoshop skills so please be kind The first show was around a track hosted by Tiff Nedell and featured Sabine Schmitz Here she is driving a Lancia Stratos... double and driving a Van Drifting competition This guy did a lap on 2 wheels The Stig in a Caterham The Second show was Clarkson / Hammond & May hosting an 'Alternative Olympics' Clarkson & Hammond having a Curling contest with May on a quad bike sweeping All 3 having a chariot race with chariots made up of 4 scooters instead of horses Then there was the cars, which to be honest was a bit of a letdown but still ok I guess And cars from the show
  6. Get it now! Sorry was being a bit thick. Its been happening alot recently. Went out for a wee drive last week after nearly crushing myself to death. I decided to park the car and nip in for a haircut. I waited over an hour in the barbers, finally had a trim, left the barbers and walked home. Got halfway home and realised i'd left my car in the carpark. Had to walk back down and get it I spent ages in the work car park looking for my Zed earlier got in a real panic then realised I was holding the keys to my other car
  7. Unlucky!!! Santa just bagged it for his sleigh!
  8. A. Does he need any new mates B. do you think he could be fooled into thinking you had swapped your Zed for another one (mine) in a couple of months and give it a full respay
  9. I'm not sure we can ban a member for telling the truth thought Chris..... You cant, but I can You want the truth? You can't handle the truth !!!
  10. It does look good but if its only a beta the fair enough, nobody wants to add something that might beak the site.... We have Chris 'I for that
  11. This sub looks tasty My reasons for getting the Pioneer were i didnt want an under strut one that took up half the tiny boot and it was fairly expensive to make up one to fit behind the drivers seat. If you read the reviews you will see they are pretty good, certainly sounds good to me anyway. All depends if you want all out volume or just a fuller sound, as Dblock said to me did i want to flap peoples trousers as i drove past I also like to be different and do things myself Glad the chinese unit is working, but much more glad your looking at a better alternative Its well worth swapping out all the bose speakers, amps etc you certainly wont be dissapointed
  12. Hang on.... You are knocking my choice of sub as being low rent and yet you went for a chinese HU  Yes a 'traditional' sub will out perform what I have no question but the cheapest you are going to get a decent sub + box + amp combo under the strut or in the bose sub location is £500ish I would suggest you sort out your HU first, then ditch the speakers for better ones with a good amp and then think about subs  Â
  13. Easy to fit, active so no seperate amp needed...
  14. Check first some JVC units have a boost function built in, if not the yes you need 2 boosters one front and one rear
  15. Nope it would stop the seats going back and I need all the leg room I can get! I had thought it would go in front of the rear strut but it didn't look great... Its fine where it is, doesn't stop me putting stuff in the boot and anyway if i need any extra room Mary can always get the bus home Graham I am not listening you are just jealous of my calipers and that you didn't think of doing it first I will just tell her it was Wills idea, she likes Will
  16. Sounds like you picked up a big stone and it got thrown around the wheel arch Because you are quite literallly sitting on top of the rear wheels its soinds scary, first time it happened to me i thought one of the wheels was going to fall off
  17. 4k.... 5 years old and not even run in Post some pics.... Its the law
  18. Nope it would stop the seats going back and I need all the leg room I can get! I had thought it would go in front of the rear strut but it didn't look great... 19. it doesn't take up much room really.... Luckily I live 2 mins from a big Sainsburys so I never have to do a 'big shop'
