  1. not to worry - it would only crash anyway
  2. Paul.... found you a nice car and to my eye all the panels match perfectly
  3. Most of it non Zed related Oi I resemble that remark
  4. Had them over a year now and they were not new when I got them... It was a hairline crack around the weld by the sensor and was throwing a fault and you could feel heat around it so a quick weld was needed no drama... Apparently my Zed is the highest mileage one Abbey have seen and after seeing it underneath they were impressed with the general condition. It must be my uber careful proctective regime which basically consists of leaving it out in all weather and driving it all 12 months of the year
  5. Might not be all that bad in reality, sometimes different angles catch the light strangely.... It does look bad in the pics though!
  6. Getting closer Had a service yesterday, nothing too major just a small crack on one of the cats and a cam seal that needed replacing
  7. With the Bungs out the sound is just immense, the whole cabin resonates.... when you drop off the gas you get an orgasmic burble Trouble is after a few weeks driving around you will need ear protectors I loved it on short runs but you were always conspicuous and gave me headaches if I went for a long drive but I am no spring chicken
  8. If you get a Zed without a satnav you will almost certainly need a different cubby if its an early one. When you are looking open the cubby, if it tilts up you will need to change it to one that retracts in. New cubbys are not cheap, over £100 Yeah after that you just wire it in and away you go, for reference a 7" screen fits perfectly onto the back the right cubby, so you can get a tablet, car pc or satnav as long as it has a 7" screen it will look nice and oem
  9. I had a Buddy Club and it was lovely, just don't expect it to ever be quiet or stop vibrating...
  10. Or someone found a big bar of chocolate....
  11. I would insist on a full test drive myself and have a good look under the bonnet
  12. I miss that from my days with the K1. Used to love tunnels and stuff. Still nice with the Milltek as I go through it every day to work but you have to give it some .... with the Buddy Club just taking your foot off the gas was orgasmic
  13. Try a 40 minute drive home Only plus point was at one stage I was behind some of those pikeys in a horse and trap type thing and it REALLY p****d them off when I went past I did go through the Dartford tunnel with the bungs out and it sounded like I was in an F1 car I miss the sound sometimes but I just couldn't live with it on a daily basis, it was the vibration more than anything, it used to settle down at motorway speeds but it never ever went away Anyway if you want a REALLY quiet exhaust then buy a 370z
  14. Some so called 'friends' on the forum persuaded me to drive home from Dorking with my bungs out.... I think that's what persuaded me to change it for the Milltek
  15. Ahh yours is the lesser spotted Linton Azure
  16. I actually have Tarmac's old tanabe with a stillen y pipe on my zed now and I think it sounds just right. Nice deep growl when you step on the loud pedal but quite civilised when driving normally and not droney on the motorway. I guess with HFCs it might be a bit too loud though Yeah it was definately the HFCs that made it loud, and the spacer and the popcharger .. HFC's would make pretty much any exhaust louder, they are like Viagra for an exhaust Everyones idea of what is loud is different, I found the Buddy Club with bungs in too loud but others say it is fine with bungs out or even with HFC's
  17. Hello chaps Nice to see 2 fellow members of the Azure Mafiosi
  18. I think I would be well suited to that form of motorsport, it looks very similar to slip road onto the Dartford bridge at Thurrock
  19. Come and spend a day at one of our services, may help you. I'm Acting Chairman of the Board of Trustees. http://wilfward.org.uk/Con5/ Just to clarify when I say hate and am scared of, its in regard to the various illnesses not the sufferers; I want to run the London marathon in 2013 for a mental health charity and I am leaning towards alzheimer's society, one of my mum's life long friends is in the intermediate stages now, truly horrible seeing a kind woman slowly lose herself I don't think anyone thought you meant you hated the mentally ill. Very emotive subject but I don't think anyone on here is laughing at the guy with tourettes, more at the poor unfortunate woman getting a smack in the hooter
