  1. Also even though the 370 is hardly the most luxurious of interiors it would surely be a nicer place to be than the Renault? Anyway as Ken said right from the start why compare a big heavy gt to a lightened hatchback with a mahoosive turbo...?
  2. Glad your loving it You have an HR so maybe better with dual intakes, also this time of year it is sucking in a big lungful of cold air... in the summer I found my pop charger would hesitate slightly, most likely heat soak i guess anyway whatever the K&N and PC both sound fantastic :B
  3. Mines just slipped past 100,000 and still going strong There don't seem to be many high mileage Zed's about but then they are hardly the most practical car are they... Most are weekend toys or 2nd cars not too many daily drivers

Lol I love this new phrase on car forums. "If you can't afford X buy a cheaper car" So you would advise a Lambo owner to pay £3k for a replacement headlight for a Diablo when the same headlights are available for £300 from Nissan? I was just asking a question to see if its viable, no need to make such jumping conclusions. I guess you always use Nissan dealers and all OEM Nissan parts? totally agree, no matter what car you own some people always like to shop around, or look for a cheaper option. unless your absolutely minted with about £40m in the bank!! im all for putting top quality parts on for top performance, but some people own a z because they like the look or the drive, not because they want to go flat out 100% of the time in all conditions. for those people - having a slighty cheaper tyre wont make a sh*tting bit of difference. And I love the new breed of Zed owners who want everything cheap and everything on a budget If you can replace the same part cheaper fine but why skimp on tyres or brakes etc And yes a cheaper tyre wont make a sh*tting bit of difference until you are in a ditch or facing the wrong way on a motorway... then maybe you will wish you had spent a little more Anyway each to their own Lets have another thread on how to get a couple more mpg if you drive really carefully or maybe even use normal unleaded Oh and if you don't want stupid answers..... don't ask stupid questions, or maybe as Lexx said.... use the search instead
  5. Yep just another uneventful day on a russian highway
  6. They are relatively rare, I had one but sold it after a few months, not really my cup of tea

That post says that it is a difference greater than advised so you take your chances... To be honest and not nasty if the OP is looking to cut corners and cost on tyres then they need a cheaper to run car....
  8. Yeah and the driver that caused it was probably unaware of any of it...
  9. Have a look at this thread - http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=157&t=56313
  10. A case of highlighting just what they wanted to highlight I guess.... I think a 370z is worth the 2k difference in price on the Renault any day of the week regardless of how slower it is round a wet track

If you change the outer diameter of the wheel as a whole you will have all sorts of problems
  12. Would be cheaper to drive more to the conditions and give the mint rays a refurb in the spring if they need it Some people seem to think winter tyres will magically make a RWD car with 280+bhp handle like a 4wd Not saying the OP or even Zed owners just people in general, heard some beemer owners at work talking the other day
  13. Well it kind of looks like a Guinea Pig
  14. Ah the age old question, Noise vs Power The reason I prefer the Pop Charger is it takes about 10 minutes to swap it over so you can have either Even if the K&N did give you 8hp extra then would you really notice it? I don't know about the K&N as I have never had it fitted but as it is basically a pop charger in a box I am guessing it is similar and therefore you get a slight hesitation when you put your foot down
  15. Wasso using your comparison as a guide I would happy ride around in the 370z for 90% of the time but occasionally I would still like to slip inside the Renault and give it a good seeing to
  16. ...... I think that would depend on if she was really a man That's why an honest one is best.... you learn from your mistakes
  17. Cool would you be prepared to post up wiring details ?? I can see some more pics in the gallery where you have posted the video but struggling to make out the wire colours +1 would be interested in this also
  18. Why not just take the nav output + & - and wire them to a seperate little speaker That way you don't have to select AUX... Not sure if the NAV has volume control though as I don't have a birdview...
  19. Still won't make a huge difference
  20. PMs replied to Good luck! Stick some pics and write up when your done to help the next fella...
  21. reading the uTube comments it could have been a police vehicle which would maybe explain the lack of panic...
  22. All depends what you want from a holiday really, some peopke want to relax and do nothing, others party 24/7 Personally I like to go to new places, see the sights and go a bit off track (if it's safe) My favourite by a long way has been Egypt, stayed in Luxor and went to Cairo for a day, saw just about everything I wanted to, totally jaw dropping... not sure how it would be nowadays though....
  23. I can confirm i have never ever witnessed anything like that on a UK train or tube
