  1. Don't worry you still have twice the brain power of some on here
  2. Those look like babies bottles with the teats pushed in
  3. Yup saffy is filthy too at the moment I won't say anything about cars matching their owners
  4. Yeah I've had the clutch in the back of my mind from the get go and will most likely be upgrading it to something beefier as part of the overal plan. Ah no, I'm not worried about that in the least mate - whilst I'm planning on driving it in standard trim for a short while, just so I can get a grip on any issues that might arise, its going to go on a serious diet in due course. Depending on the package we end up with under the hood will determine just on how severe the diet will be as I have a power-to-weight goal and quite prepared to forego the ICE completely if it comes to it. Yup, they're REO50As so happy days it seems. Phil I think the phrase is 'jammy bar steward' although mine came with them brand new all round too they are night and day compared to 40s...
  5. Have they actually been on your car? Look like they have just come out of the boxes...
  6. The blue looks very light in the pic... Not sure how that would look on an Azure
  7. See there are some nice people on here.... hopefully one day I will meet one
  8. I had a few moments like that in the rain when my Bridgstones were nearing their end!!!
  9. I bought my Zed on 68k with its original clutch but it soon went unfortunately.... Plenty of traders on here that do good deals, I got a race clutch & lightweight fly + fitting was £800 which I thought was pretty good... I wouldn't stress about not getting a Zed with satnav the birdview is ok but it is relatively cheap to fit your own one As for price as long as you are happy thats all that matters, I slightly overpaid for my Zed 2 years ago because I didn't know the forum.... but I have had no problems with it at all and now it is on 100k+ and going strong! Might be worth checking what Potenza's you have, if they are REO40s they are not too great, if they are REO50s or better still REO50As then result!!!
  10. PM sent And headlining in my garage
  11. I take it the car is cleaner than your underwear
  12. We wern't concerned we just celebrating the peace Just kidding you old scampi
  13. Ive driven my Zed almost every day since October I can understand people wanting to wrap their pride and joy in cotton wool or not risk them ending up in a ditch at the first sight of rain/sleet etc but I love the cold winter mornings with the ice cold air and my Zed loves it too...
  14. I got an exedy clutch and fidanza flywheel from Alex, feels a LOT different to a standard set up although it is noisier at idle i.e. chatter
  15. sorry I haven't had a chance to put all the guides etc back up. real life caught up with me. ill see if I can get a chance to sort it soon. I just wondered why yours had gone, you should have left the Akari designs stuff on here after all have 710 oil paid a Trader fee since their offer expired in October 2009? Their thread is still there....
  16. I totally and utterly agree, there is little worse than dazzling badly levelled HIDs
  17. Hmm, that sounds to me like aftermarket bumpers will fail then Pete Yup, that could effect a few on here I honestly thought it was already a fail or perhaps that is a myth... no doubt those that have them will claim thet can get round it a bit like having decats....
  18. Thought it had been quiet on here
  19. Sorry mate! I'm still just a noob... Haha no worries I did wrap my centre console but I didn't like it...
  20. The Momo came with several different fitments one of which was perfect, the Nardi was more tricky! Basically it is trial and error, the 'modding' i.e. cutting away the underneath allows the cover to slide on enough to work properly... Once on and secured with a screw it feels solid as a rock and no movement The gear knob in the momo pic is a KTA gear knob, I still have it somewhere I put it up for sale but nobody wanted it.....
  21. Remove the standard cover with a sharp knife, slice it all the way along the bottom and peel it off, then your left with this... Ignore the 3 holes as i have had 3 different covers Whatever cover you get will need 'modifying' to actually fit Drill a hole and fix it on
  22. I had one of those too...
