  1. I think this thread has more of Ricey's pointless questions than any I have seen for a while
  2. I wouldn't say Dan takes us all for idiots, he does have lets say a unique viewpoint though... As he says, agree or disagree with him, as long as you give a reasoned debate then all is good. At the end of the day it is everyones own personal choice what rubber they get, personally around £600-£700 would be the max I would pay for 4 tyres for my Zed which is spot on as I have never had a scary moment with REO50As in any weather and thats having done over 30k in 25 months week in week out. It all depends what you want in the end, my car gets me from A to B in cosumate style and the odd meet up and drive with mates. I don't track the car so I will never explore the limits of handling and grip on a daily basis, so I want decent grip in all weather and long lasting tyres... My previous Bridgestones lasted 24k so thats goid enough for me road noise not an issue, thats why I have a good stereo  Question - if someone that only does a few miles a year puts tyres worth £1k on their car just to drive to meets and shows does that make them more or less of a fool paying £400 for a set and using the car every day?
  3. If you are there I will wear them specially for you, anyone up for a forum timewarp special What is the hotel like, just checking prices and its no dearer than the premier inn down the road Only staying the saturday night...
  4. Pretty well covered in the ICE forum there is a sticky with all you need to know Have a good read up on the 640 there were issues with BT I believe
  5. Yikes! I can why you found it a bit too 'spicy'! S. And at the time my other half was a warden in a residential home for the elderly Luckily the last half mile home was down hill so I could coast it
  6. I have never been out if work but found myself homeless when I lived in the SW. I moved in with a friend in probably the worst area of Taunton, if anyone knows it I lived off Roman Road on the 'Inner Circle' Yes there were some people raking the system I'm not saying they don't exist but in the 18 months I lived there I met some good people, some unfortunate, some unlucky and yes some just plain lazy. Not everyone that is on benefits its a scum sucking tosser, just the same as some wealthy people in nice houses are tax avoiding cheating tw@ts, it's how the world is. No benefit system is going to be perfect, my view is that until it is managed properly and abusers brought to task it will always be as it is now. I completely agree that nobody on benfits should get more than they could earn on minimum wage, otherwise there is no incentive whatsoever...
  7. You've been out of a Zed too long Standard is VERY orange....
  8. Seeing as Husky's old Akari Designs forum has gone I though I would post up some pictures of my interior that he modded for me They are my favourite mod to my Zed by some distance
  9. I think Joy deserves a medal as well as birthday wishes Have a great day and I hope Graham spoils you rotten over the weekend... oh hang on Grasshopper saturday so just make sure he leaves the credit card
  10. You notice it much more when you take it off. Over time you get used to the slight hesitation and very slight dulling of excelleration but when you take it off you realise it. You miss the noise though...
  11. I hope you not offering to hold some thing Graham ................ Let me check if I am performing at the club that week Graham, if I am I can get you complimentary tickets.... although it may be on a 'special' night Nice pics James
  12. Still quite cheap though, if you like them, which I don't particularly.....
  13. 0-60 you should expect to be embarrassed by plenty of hot hatches, especially if the roads are not bone dry A Zed isn't really about straight line drag races, more about the looks and the noise Crusing For The Win Racing For The Ban
  14. Hopefully he just got out ok he took a fair old whack It says in the description: wet road + news tyres + SC + too much throttle = ****. wet road + new tyres + DC + too much throttle - talent = ****
  15. Cost me £800 for a Fidanza flywheel & Exedy clutch fitted, can highly recommend over standard! Yes there is a slight chatter at idle but that is more than made up for
  16. Don't listen to him, he persuaded me to drive 60 miles home with my BC bungs out once
  17. So you want Mr Redknapp to sent to the tower then? S. If he is guilty he will pay the price i'm sure... will certainly put any talk about the England job to one side
  18. To be fair I don't think they are marketing it at a bunch of male 350z owners
  19. But you can be proud that you don't and the beer at the end of the week tastes that little bit sweeter than the scumbags 8th beer of a Monday morning. Monday afternoon, no reason to get up on a monday morning, well unless you are recording your appearance on the Jeremy Kyle show of course
