Some HU don't have a jack they have a steering remote wire. What HU you got? My old pioneer (F900bt) had a jack but my new one JVC avx840 I had to remove the jack and just attach the wires I had to remove the plug and connect it like this -

Now before I start I know the audiophiles amongst you will say 'FM is better' etc etc but..... I absolutely LOVE Planet Rock I bought a Pure Highway with the intention of fitting it in the Zed and hiding it away somewhere, originally in my Cubby (which is now no more) and then under a seat, but anyway that is now in my Leon After a bit of research I went for an add-on box from Dabonwheels which requires an AV input as it is run from the display on your HU. All fitted this morning, just need to decide on aerial options now, I have a little magnetic aerial which seems to work ok in the boot of the Zed and could be run out of the boot onto the roof for long journeys The interface screen isn't great but I expected that really as it needs to work on pretty much all HU's and display screens so has to be basic... Anyway it works a treat so now I can drive my Zed and listen to Planet Rock For anyone that is interested here is the unit & what it looks like on the screen

I've had no problem with CAC but then I have always gone and collected things that have been put by for me, never ordered blind... The steering wheel adapter is sorted now although I think my actual steering control unit needs updating, it has frozen a couple of times when I have been adjusting the volume from the steering wheel mine is version 1.9 and when I emailed ICT they said that I needed the newer version

Exactly the points I made earlier, although not so well The most rediculous thing was the pundits on SSN talking about the Terry incident saying that nothing would happen unless a member of the public complained and guess what then happened! Why not cut a piece of cardboard the exact size and draw a nice picture on it, this could be your 'screen saver' and fitted when required

The trouble is that any half decent English player now gets transferred for £20-30m gets £100k a week and thinks they are a superstar... Carroll or Henderson anyone? The likes of those 2 and Barry / Milner / G.Johnson earning that sort of money and costing those fees is just rediculous...

I think we should all head for Neils place and give him a Milltek & Berks symphony My Berks were 2nd hand and I have had them on for about 16 months and 15k+ and never heard any popping When you hear it in the flesh you will agree it is the perfect, sporty but discreet tone for the car, suits it perfectly and also I think looks great with the rounded tips and mesh combo.... You will always get the K1/decat chav brigade saying its too quiet and for old gits well some of us don't want to scare the living crap out of old grannies as we cruise down the high street at 20mph

The HU manual should tell you the maximum size it can handle and how the card should be formatted and the folders organised. Some HU will even display album art if you save it on the id tags

Said without a hint of bitterness I would have no problem with him taking the England job, it would be perceived as a step up and who could fault anyone on that? Much in the same way as leaving Pompey and coming to a much bigger club was a step up Hopefully it won't happen until the summer if it does at all

Cheers mate, I just find the oem ones fiddly with the bolts, in fact I think I lost one of the bolts! I knew I should have glues them in Anyway an alternative that is just a few £ would be most welcome

They are not good tbh.... also they are left hand drive versions with the pictures turned round The clue is the handbrake and the backwards Z on the steering wheel

Er, no he wasn't. He was suspended because he missed a test, and even the FA said there was no suggestion he was taking anything naughty at all. I have no problem with the FA standing Terry down as captain, that's largely missing the point though. What they're essentially saying is that it's not okay to captain England if you're suspected of saying something racist, but it's perfectly acceptable to just play for England in that circumstance. That's just daft. I have no particular problem with Terry at all, when he's on form he's a fantastic player, but he hasn't been on it this season at all and probably doesn't deserve to picked on form anyway. The easy solution would've been just to make him ineligible for selection full stop, would've solved all these issues quite happily. It does make me laugh how everyone thinks that JT is a racist now suddenly, despite there being zero trial right now. Oh but don't worry, he's a footballer who shagged his mate's missus, therefore he must be guilty! I agree with all of that....
