  1. I almost got a civic diesel, only thing that put me off was the horrible plastic trim all around the wheels and skirts... so I went for a Seat Leon FR TDI, might be worth a test drive as they are similar, Civic is slightly more economical but doesn't pack quite as much of a punch  civic is a nicer place to be though.... Good luck with the search
  2. Our cat gets jealous when I am on the phone, she can be peacefully asleep wherever in the flat but if my phone goes she is on my shoulder meowing away letting whoever i am talking to know she is there When Mary is on the phone she doesn't give a toss which winds her up immensely as she feeds her and cleans up after her But she is definitely Daddy's girl
  3. I say we sponsor Ricey to do the run in double denim
  4. Sold the Pioneer F900BT then I take it Dave? Yep and it stayed on the forum :woohoo:
  5. I can recommend the one in Pauls post however you would have to buy a seperate nav unit to plug into it, although there is apparently an iPhone app that connects to the JVC but I haven't tried it so can't comment. Unless you do as Level 42 did and try the 'Chinese Way' you will have to spend a fair chunk of £ to get a DD with all the bells and whistles and Nav too.... Nothing south of £500 new I wouldn't say Some of the newer Pioneer AVICs or Alpine units are in excess of £1,000
  6. Rays or some other new shoes first
  7. Nothing like panic buying to push prices up, I remember last time there were garage owners defending their actions saying people will pay it so why not
  8. I can. Personal best in a non-zed car: 6 tanks in a day (long drive to Europe ) In a zed I've only ever emptied 3 tanks in one day - until this coming summer that is... [planning on a record-breaking 6-tank 24-hour leg of another trip - more to come soon] There is always one Be cheaper to just hire a tanker to follow you wouldn't it?
  9. The window issue is actual built in, it drops the windows on nice days so you can hear the exhaust honest Very shiny Zed The smile will wear off eventually about 6 months is the norm
  10. Personally I wouldn't buy cheap brake discs/pads, I'm not saying they will be biscuit tin lids but at the end of the day you get what you pay for. Then again for all we know your mate might be doing you a VERY good deal on some decent parts
  11. If there is a strike it will most likely be a 1 day strike, how many people can empty a tank of fuel in a day (Apart from Ebized & Glrnet visiting ChrisS )
  12. You can get a decent double din from say Pioneer / JVC / Alpine etc for under £200 that will play CD's and iPod etc too, anything with a nice touch screen will be more like £400+ though Unfortunately nothing is 'easy' to install you pretty much have to go through a certain amount of pain whatever you fit... It's not hugely difficult though if you follow the guides on here
  13. Well given that roughly a third of the population are inside the M25 then it's hardly surprising... Both our cars are running dry but ho hum if we can't fill up we can't go anywhere. I am totally embarrassed to be in the same union as the tanker drivers, and headed up by that total **** Len McCluckey They think they have us over a barrel (no pun intended) just like when the baggage handlers go on strike just at the busy holiday period McCluskey has already urged public sector workers (Bus drivers etc) to threaten to strike during the Olympics the *****
  14. Well thanks to a government minister advising to 'stock up and keep jerry cans of petrol in their garages' not only is it chaos at the petrol stations I have seen but the Fire Brigade are obviously up in arms too about the potential fire risk! Linky - http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2012/mar/28/advice-stockpiling-petrol-dangerous-firefighters My missus went to fill the Leon up on the way to work and was limited to £10 of diesel which will just about do her till friday My local Sainsbury was empty of shoppers in the car park or store but a half mile queue to the pumps
  15. Had the 370z vinyl along the skirts Reg ended in VAX never seen it around before
  16. Yeah I would get in touch with Apple, maybe nothing will come of it but you never know and you will at least have the satisfaction that whoever took it or bought it on the sly won't be able to use it properly
  17. That sound very cheap but then if you are not fussed about OEM ones then go fit it. You will be looking at considerably more for better quality ones
  18. Too true, its good that everyone doesn't agree
  19. Agree on corruption in almost any sport especially with all the 'in game betting etc My cousin even used to cheat at subbuteo, he flicked the click and I didn't know
  20. After all the good things said in the last couple of weeks about things being more important than football, it gets dragged into the gutter once again by some mindless violence. Unusually though it was on the pitch not the streets or terraces... hopefully the preverbial book will be throw at both clubs they should be disgusted with their employees behavior. I know that if I raised my fists at work for whatever reason I would be sacked no question so should all those involved be treated the same?
