  1. I can only imagine Neil... But then I am an old fart and far more sophisticated
  2. No worries at all Good luck with finding someone to do your handbrake
  3. Nothing silly about asking questions Where abouts are you, if you are in the SE we meet up fairly regularly and I am more than happy to arrange a knob viewing The handbrake change is more difficult but not too scary, there are a few threads on here about how its done http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=53&t=57174&hilit=handbrake This is the guide I used http://www.350z-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Parking_Brake_Handle_Installation
  4. I have the same problem, I blame it on thin blood
  5. Totally agree and I have filled up with the odd tank of 95 fuel and the car hasn't spontaneously combusted, but someone saying that you can run everyday on it with no effects is mad as a box of frogs Well said
  6. Get one of these it makes the boot nice and stable and stops road noise especially when you turn it up
  7. Are you sure? Hardly anyone ever agrees with me I sure am... Doesn't quite fit the op's requirements looks wise though, and is definitely at the top of his price bracket. But then quality doesn't come cheap
  8. That really is a thing of beauty Ian..... I fear however that putting that in my engine bay would be a little like polishing a turd
  9. Are you sure? Hardly anyone ever agrees with me
  10. You might want to do some more research into that one matey... http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=58599
  11. It doesn't have the look you are after but a Buddy Club Pro Spec III would certainly give you the low tone you are after, I would imagine with HFC's too it would be deeper still http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=58998&p=864161#p864161
  12. You just need to get a really firm grip around your shaft, sometimes helps if you get someone else to hold it while you twist it off
  13. Just remembered this Neil Dave, Jim, Graham & Will (The early years) http://s1016.photobucket.com/albums/af282/warpedstorm/The%20wise%20old%20owl/?action=view&current=2010_0829horsham0061.mp4 Bungs out but no HFC's or Decats unfortunately.... I miss my Buddy Club
  14. Let me get this right Neil, you live in Scotland and you are surprised at how changeable the weather is
  15. No its not too shiny at all. It feels really nice in your hand and you just want to hold on to it! Taken from a link from Steve's page: viewtopic.php?f=180&t=59504 That is the exact one I have now, it used to belong to Doogyrev so everytime I drive my car I get to grab Doogy's knob and give it a good hard yank I find it is just the right size for me, very easy to get hold of and you can either grab it and pull or just give it a quick flick of the wrist
  16. I do indeed love a nice knob A few of many
  17. Ask anyone who went to Wales last year if they can keep up with a Landy in a Zed
  18. I went through 'the change' long ago Will's wasn't the first 370 I have driven, I test drove one last year when my Zed had it's bump and I wasn't sure if I would get paid out or repaired... I was honest with Will, apart from the Interior which is a million times better than the 350 I wasn't blown away, everything just feels too clinical and exact, steering, clutch etc all very light.... Maybe I am just from the Industrial age but I prefer the 350 with it's heavy manly steering and gears... So no I won't be upgrading anytime soon..... or probably ever really
  19. My stick will ALWAYS be considerably longer than yours
