Some real rubbish being spouted about the upRev on this thread, anyone who can't tell the difference before & after must have a problem with the car or the tune wasn't done correctly. Lots of members over the years have had their Zeds done and been more than happy, so why all of a sudden is it getting such a slating? I guess £400 is a lot to spend on a cheap car like a Zed now, but when you couldn't find one for much under £10k it made more sense. Maybe after all these years of making money on upRevs the price should be coming down?

I don't think I had problem with my zed before remap,but I physically don't see a difference in driving after remap was done! Im not going to pretend and say :"yeah,zed drives like a rocket now".This is what this forum is about,discuss things ,either they good or bad or neutral!

I really hope remap was done correctly ! Don't see a reason why it should be done otherwise!

Do you not at least notice the throttle response is much better now?

All I noticed is my bank account become £400 lighter .Just increased figures on the dyno paperwork ! - Driving is the same as it was before remap...

Unless you had a throttle controller I can't see how you can't notice WOT in 1st > 3rd

Sounds like something isn't right... main thing I noticed was more mid range torque

Lossless audio is wasted in a car, unless you've gone to some extreme lengths or own a Rolls Royce.

Total crap, if you can't tell the difference then you must be deaf

If all you do is listen to MP3 all day then stick a CD in and hear how good it sounds

Does help if you have a decent sound system, I never bothered when I had the stock Bose I have to admit

I was going to get a App Stereo but then swiftly found the iPad did all that I need and more.

 

But the second most prefered feature is that I can take my iPad from one car to the other, taking music, satnav, well everything I have on there between cars.

Can't get much music on an iPad though really as there is no connection to external storage unless you have a NAS drive in the car

You can put loads of MP3's on it but that defeats the object of a decent stereo and digital connection, the music needs to be lossless audio which will eat up an iPads memory pretty quickly

Where yours uses your iPad, mine uses my mobile phone. it mirrors everything onto the Pioneer head unit and still lets me control it with the Pioneer touch screen. So internet, sat nav, music, video, film, games, etc. anything my phone does I can do.

I have been looking at a box of tricks that does the exact same thing linking in to the Jags satnav.

Not interested in Internet, texts etc just be nice to run Waze rather than the nav really

Ian don't mistake unnecessary with silly, I have many many gadgets that are unnecessary

Digital out I will give you but email and text? You have a phone in your pocket to use when you are not driving

Unless going FI, I wouldn't waste money on UpRev. Spend it on tyres, brake pads, brake fluid or fine ladies

Ian I mean unnecessary as a decent double din would do all that the iPad is doing and more, doesn't mean I don't like it though

So I test drove the 1.6 diesel civic, boring!

Then test drove the 170GT Scirrocco and loved it!!!! 2.0TDCI, looks different, has some poke and well, just good fun should I???

Same engine my old Leon had and that was pretty fun to drive, ask Darren he has had it for well over a year now too

There is a difference between P2 and P3 although it's not worth talking about, it's simply a couple of checks.

Only in America..... although to be fair if they actually did deals like it in the UK it would be just as much of a joke....

I always have a look at Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals, but they're all shite in this country compared to the States. Saving 10% off of 3 year old stock is pathetic and I am yet to see one thing worth buying.

+1 sales and bargains just aren't what they used to be, sales are 12 months of the year I can't honestly remember the last time I bought something significant that's wasn't in a sale

Just bought a sealy mattress from Argos reduced from £1,500 to £500 but I doubt they ever sold any at £1,500 same with furniture/sofa/carpet stores etc etc etc, if you look right at the back of the store you will find the full price exaggerated stock that will be massively discounted just in time for Christmas/Easter/Bar Mitzvah/Bank Holiday/New Year/Ramadan

Such a shame that the staff are arseholes. Went in to view a Porsche Caymen S and they never bothered their arse to talk to me. Albeit this was 5 years ago, or so, before I bought the zed.

Been lots of moaning on forums etc about the lack of story, gameplay is excellent but very repetitive, I think I must have killed about 100 Archon Priests !
