  1. I'm only saying that you done so much hard work this far, it would be a shame to have a small yet important detail spoil the overall look of it.

I'm sure Soundman will demand a premium, but I am sure if you trawl the Internet & eBay for components and brush up on your soldering skills, it will be the satisfying final touch

Have to agree, all that hard work and fabrication is spoils by a cable just poking out the side for me.... it's all in the detail

  2. So true, If there's a drought the Daily Mail would blame the immigrants for drinking all the water from reservoirs with straws.

lol brilliant. Love the DM and their middle class ways.

Yeah constitutional racism and sexism always make me chuckle too...

  3. Saw one of these Jags today in the flesh whilst I was on my way home. Have to say it looked fantastic especially the rear lights which had like red side markers at the top corners. B)

Had a real presence on the road & looked very modern. ;)

I saw a woman trying to park on in Sainsburys a few months back, I actually stopped and watched for what seemed like 5 minutes

  4. Noticed another thing tonight, seems far more prone to wheel hop when it spins. Nice smooth slide away from a junction normally, tramp tramp tramp away with the spacersa. Frustrating.

  5. Well mrs glrnet and and daughter will be busy with their usual jig saw fest so I might have to order something to keep me busy :) Mind you there might be a fight over table space

There's only one place for building Lego and that's the floor.....

I'm sure they will thank you for it when they go to make a cuppa and stand on a brick..... My parents always did

Taking in to account age & whiskey consumption if Papa gets on to the floor Christmas Day I can't see him getting back up till the New Year :wheelchair::console::drunk:

  6. That's more like it, just the easy option to say some cheap arse motor is rubbish that all :p

I could say my Zed was the worst car I have driven for the last couple of months I had it, drove it to Wales with my mates and had a blast, but had to take so many pain killers in the Saturday night I missed the hog roast

  7. Need to take price and use in to account surely

I drove an i20 to Newcastle and hated it but as a cheap runaround for someone to just go to the shops and back or work then it would be a great option

same here really - my sons 1ltr Seat Arosa is pretty horrible, but it does what it says on the tin ie pootling back and forward to the shops and as a learner car

Fair to say that the average member on here is going to say a 1l whatever is crap even though it really isn't to someone that just wants a cheap car, would rather hear from people that have bought £20k+ cars and they have been awful that's all...

  8. I took my old navman apart and wired in a £4 speaker from Maplins, fitted it behind the lower dash and it worked a treat :)

That could be worth a try, thanks ðŸ‘

I would take apart the nav first to see what connection is on the one in the unit but I used one like this

    http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/6w-mylar-speaker-rohs-compliant-87mm-n40gw

There will most likely be a mono connection so just connect to one terminal, remember to attach the speaker to some trim to get best volume ;)
