One of very few natural progressions from a Zed for me, they are delightful to drive quick, are pretty fast and are well worth a look if you can live with two seats and not much boot

 

ETA: Solely as a drivers car I struggle to see how anyone can prefer a Zed but its a matter of taste I suppose ............ 1350KG, mid engined Porsche that cost twice what a Zed did when new says it all for me

I actually stopped posting on a Jag forum when I talked about looking at a Cayman and a few members there said they are not drivers cars

In a different league to a Zed, IMO, not a massive amount in it performance wise but as a package it is far superior, styling wise I can see why some wouldn't like it and also the badge snobbery would put a few people off too

Shame they put a god awful bodykit on it, great bit of engineering but looks like a pile of crap...

I used to love driving my Zed on a cold morning, the engine absolutely loves nice cold air, all those members who sorn their cars and wrap them up in the garage are seriously missing out on some great driving :

The HU should have an amp live out basically it tells the amp to wake up when the unit powers on, as for low signal, cheapest/easiest way is to strip the RCA connectors, search for busters thread on how to do that

What would you rather do, change head unit or cable, Is the existing head unit pooh?

Whole system is crap, cheapest is to do the soldering hack but best option is to change head unit, speakers etc but not a cheap option, all depends what you want...

Do the hack first as its pennies then see if your happy

Glad you have decided to keep Rosie but would have been just as happy to see you make a change

A Zed isn't the greatest for mega bass or SQ due to the roadhouse and poor build, lots of rattles & buzzes... just crank it up and forget about getting it perfect
